Abstract: Systems and methods for providing an assistive communication layer includes receiving a communication and/or data input from one or more users and/or one or more non-users; establishing an interaction session between the one or more users and/or one or more non-users and the assistive communication layer based on the communication and/or data input from the one or more users and/or one or more non-users; analyzing the communication and/or data input from the one or more users and/or one or more non-users; and responsive to the analysis of the communication and/or data input, (i) referencing a knowledge database for data relevant to the analysis and (ii) identifying one of a plurality of operational protocols to execute.

The communication interface receives a message from a first member of the community using a first text messaging channel. The message includes a community number identifying the community. The message routing module is communicatively coupled to the communication interface. The message routing module determines one or more second text messaging channels for the one or more second members. The communication interface sends the message to the one or more second members of the community using the one or more second text messaging channels.

Abstract: The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition by a novel action mechanism without serious side effects for delayed hypersensitivity and a screening method of the same. The invention also provides a novel assay method of inhibitors/suppressive agents of PAR-2. The invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for delayed hypersensitivity containing one or two or more active ingredients selected from the group consisting of inhibitors of PAR-2 and suppressive agents of PAR-2 gene expression and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, and to a method for screening active ingredients for pharmaceutical composition for delayed hypersensitivity by contacting a subject substance with cells expressing PAR-2 and by determining expression or activity of PAR-2. The invention also relates to a method for detecting or quantifying actions of the subject substance for PAR-2 using cells expressing PAR-2 in a culture containing inositol.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for treating a gas stream rich in hydrogen sulfide by providing one or more feed gas streams rich in hydrogen sulfide into a Claus reaction furnace, providing air into the Claus reaction furnace, providing supplemental oxygen into the Claus reaction furnace, and providing steam to the Claus reaction furnace, where the steam is in addition to any steam that may be present in gases that are recycled to the Claus reaction furnace. The components are then reacted at a temperature above about 2400° F. and at a pressure sufficient to cause hydrogen sulfide to be converted into sulfur.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for processing eggs based upon a characteristic such as gender are provided. Material is extracted from each of a plurality of live eggs, the extracted material is assayed to identify eggs having the characteristic, and then eggs identified as having the characteristic are processed accordingly.
