  • Patent number: 7758346
Abstract: Novel prosthetic teeth constructed using moldable, micro-filled composite resin, and a novel method for making and bonding the same onto implants in a patient's mouth. The teeth are prepared and seated in the patient's mouth using materials and methods that are known and widely available. The present invention may be applied to any situation in which one or more replacement teeth are required, including full-arch replacement for upper and/or lower teeth.

  • Publication number: 20090075235
Abstract: A fixed, implant-supported, full arch dental prosthetic having a dental prosthetic body, a rigid fence and a gingival veneer. The dental prosthetic body is prefabricated from a cured dental resin, and the rigid fence and the gingival veneer are respectively constructed from a curable dental resin. The dental prosthetic body, which can be included in a dental kit, may be prefabricated in various shapes and sizes and with various tooth forms. The dental kit also contains a supply of at least one curable dental resin, such as for constructing the rigid fence and/or the gingival veneer of the dental prosthetic and/or for affixing the dental prosthetic to an array of dental implants embedded in a patient's mouth.

  • Publication number: 20090017421
Abstract: An artificial dental prosthetic constructed of a curable resinous dental composition, and a method for preparing and seating the artificial dental prosthetic onto at least one implant in a patient's mouth. The method of preparing the artificial dental prosthetic and seating thereof may be applied to any situation in which one or more artificial dental prosthetic is required, such as a fixed, full artificial dental prosthetic for replacement of a patient's upper and/or lower arches or a fixed, partial artificial dental prosthetic for replacement of a patient's upper and/or lower teeth.

  • Patent number: 5971760
Abstract: The method of manufacturing a dental crown for use in replacing a deteriorated tooth includes the steps of making an impression of the patient's teeth including the deteriorated tooth and then making a first model from the impression. The deteriorated tooth is then extracted and a dental post installed in its place. An impression is made of the patient's teeth with the dental post and from this impression a second model is made. By use of heat and pressure a thin plastic foil is applied over the second model. By use of heat and pressure a thicker plastic foil form is made from the first model. Moldable crown forming material is then placed on the plastic foil encapsulated prepared tooth on the second model. The plastic foil form is then placed over the foil covered second mold to shape the moldable crown forming material. The crown forming material is then hardened to create a crown that is removed from off of the foil covered second model and out of the plastic foil form.

  • Patent number: 5876209
Abstract: The method of manufacturing a dental crown includes the steps of making an impression of the patient's teeth including the tooth to be crowned and then making a first model from the impression. The tooth to be crowned is then treated by removing surface portions to provide a prepared tooth. An impression is made of the patient's teeth with the prepared tooth and from this impression a second model is made. By use of heat and pressure a thin acrylic releasing plastic foil is applied over the second model. By use of heat and pressure a thicker plastic foil form is made from the first model. Moldable crown formed material is then placed on the plastic foil encapsulated prepared tooth on the second model. The plastic foil form is then placed over the foil covered second mold to shape the moldable crown forming material. The crown forming material is then hardened to create a crown that is removed from off of the foil covered second model and out of the plastic foil form.
