    Abstract: A method and device for removing harmful materials, e.g. asbestos, from areas such as ceilings that do not present an edge over which a container may be secured. The device comprises a flexible container with one end open, means for maintaining the end in a desired configuration and means for maintaining the end in abutting relation to a surface.The walls of the container are provided with gauntlets through which work may be carried out on the surface and the container has a second closable opening with means nearby for retaining the open end of a bag into which the harmful material is to be put.
