  • Publication number: 20240389500
Abstract: A sensor generates an output signal indicative of an attribute of a limited amount of material above the sensor. A controller receives the output signal and incorporates a corresponding variable into a programmatic calculation of an indication of a volume of material in a tank.

  • Patent number: 12086399
Abstract: In accordance with some embodiments, a method is performed at a device with one or more processors, non-transitory memory, a display, and an input device. The method includes displaying, on the display, a playback status indicator regarding playback of a media item. The method includes displaying, on the display, an image associated with the media item. The method includes detecting an input interacting with the image. In response to a first portion of the input, the method includes adjusting the appearance of the image on the display in accordance with the first portion of the input. In response to a second portion of the input, the method includes changing playback of media items on the device in accordance with the input in accordance with the second portion of the input.

  • Patent number: 5570175
Abstract: A new method is described that allows determination of the degree of molecular dissociation based on continuous, radio frequency (rf) and microwave driven discharges based on electrostatic probe and emission spectroscopy measurements only. Using this method costly laser-induced fluorescence spectroscopy (LIF) can be avoided. The method described is particularly applicable to hydrogen plasmas characterized by non-thermal electron energy distribution functions which are of great practical importance. A compact combined fiber optic/electrostatic probe facilitating the required measurements is described.

  • Patent number: 4664796
Abstract: A system for the magnetic separation of fragile particles, such as intact biological cells, from a fluid medium. The system includes at least one high-gradient magnetic separator having a flow chamber housing an interstitial separation matrix and associated magnetizing apparatus for coupling magnetic flux to the matrix. The matrix has interstices through which a carrier fluid carrying the cells-to-be-separated may be passed. The magnetizing apparatus includes opposing North and South poles and field-guiding pole pieces, external to the flow chamber. The flow chamber comprises a dual-position flux-coupler. The flux-coupler is operative in a first position in the capture phase and in a second position in an elutriation phase. In the capture phase, the flux-coupler is positioned to permit the magnetic flux from one magnetic pole to pass through the matrix to the other magnetic pole.

  • Patent number: 4011404
Abstract: A video production module including a truck. The electronic equipment is contained in rack frames one of which is attached to the frame of the truck, and other rack frames are hingedly mounted on each side of the one rack frame so that they swing about their hinges into a compact arrangement without exposed connecting wires. The module includes a production arm which is pivotally mounted at one end to the truck and which connects with a desk at its other end so that when the arm is raised to vertical position it brings the desk into a protected position above the rack frames.
