    Abstract: Scissors construction wherein sheet metal stock is pressed into a blade having a control cam for establishing point contact and improving the feel of action between pivoted blade pairs. The blade is coined in a die assembly to form the control cam and an arcuate blade cross section which rigidifies the blade and produces the effect of hollow grinding.
