Abstract: A container made from an integral blank in which a solid bottom wall is provided with hingedly connected side walls and ends walls which may be folded normal thereto. The end walls are provided with additional panels which may be placed in surface-to-surface relation with the interior of the side walls and secured thereto in any suitable manner as by any automatic machinery such as a "tray former". A pair of the securement panels from opposite end walls and opposite corners of the box have extensions which may be folded inwardly toward the opposite side wall panel to form a central partition. These extensions are longer than half the transverse distance between the opposite side walls so that portions of the extensions may meet in surface-to-surface relation to form a partition.

Abstract: A fiberboard container for the shipment of fragile and irregularly shaped articles includes a top tray, a bottom tray and, in some cases, a protective sleeve between the trays. Each of the trays has cavities to hold the articles, the cavities being formed in a pad of the tray. Each of the trays is constructed with a top pad and a bottom pad, which pads may be of laminated paperboard panels, and spacers of laminated fiberboard, to separate the top pad from the bottom pad.

Abstract: A carton having a bottom tray and cover element. Opposite corners of both the tray and cover element include a locking flap assembly which is part of the adjacent sidewalls of each element, and is used to assemble the tray and cover. The locking flap assemblies include a hook cut in a sidewall flap extension received within a slot cut in an adjacent sidewall.

Abstract: A carton for shipping books having a simplified end cell configuration to protect the edges of the book during shipment and storage and glue flaps which can be glued against the upper surface of the carton using conventional packaging machinery.

Abstract: A one-piece, die cut partition made from foldable sheet-like material which folds into a two-cell rectangular divider with single thickness material around the perimeter and double thickness material in the center partition, the partition being such that it may be easily set up by hand and requires no additional retention devices or material although it may be taped or stapled.
