  • Patent number: 12611411
Abstract: Disclosed are methods of treating cancer with a tri-agent therapy. The methods include a cancer treatment regimen with two or three different antineoplastic medications, including tamoxifen, gefitinib, and vinorelbine (TGV). The cancer treatment regimen can include sequential and/or concurrent administration of tamoxifen, gefitinib, and vinorelbine. The cancer treatment regimen can include sequential and/or concurrent administration of tamoxifen and gefitinib as adjuvants to a prescribed treatment. The cancer treatment regimen can be cyclical or can be a continuous metronomic treatment with metronomic dosing. The cancer treatment regimen can be cyclical and then can be followed by a continuous metronomic treatment with metronomic dosing.

  • Publication number: 20250327715
Abstract: An apparatus for detecting an abnormality in a structure includes a base, configured to be attached to the structure, and piezoelectric transducers, configured to generate waves through the structure, coupled to the base, spaced apart from each other, and aligned with each other along a transducer plane. The apparatus additionally includes piezoelectric sensors configured to sense the waves generated by the piezoelectric transducers, coupled to the base, spaced apart from each other, and aligned with each other along a lateral sensor plane. A distance between adjacent ones of the piezoelectric sensors is the same. A size of each one of the piezoelectric transducers is greater than a size of each one of the piezoelectric sensors. A distance between the transducer plane and the lateral sensor plane is greater than a distance between adjacent ones of the piezoelectric transducers and greater than a distance between adjacent ones of the piezoelectric sensors.

  • Patent number: 9555787
Abstract: A vehicle brake booster includes a brake input member configured to receive a braking input force and a booster housing divided into a first chamber adjacent the brake input member and a second chamber remote from the brake input member. A poppet valve includes a poppet valve body and a poppet seal, the poppet valve operable to maintain separation between pressure and vacuum during assisted braking and further being operable to enable evacuation of the air from the first chamber through one or more side ports of the poppet valve body upon release of the braking input force and completion of the assisted braking A restrictor element provides a predetermined release speed for the booster. The one or more side ports define a total flow resistance of the poppet valve body which is less than an effective total flow resistance of the poppet valve body set by the restrictor element.
