Abstract: An enclosure for an optical launch fiber assembly is disclosed which includes a base portion defining an inner cavity and having an interior surface, an outer peripheral wall and an exterior surface, a stationary storage spool fixedly secured to the inner surface of the base portion within the inner cavity, the storage spool having an annular wall forming an inner peripheral channel for supporting a central length of unjacketed optical launch fiber and an outer peripheral channel for supporting two end lengths of jacketed optical launch fiber, and a cover portion having an outer peripheral wall hingedly connected to the outer peripheral wall of the base portion.

Abstract: A water device comprising at least a water-carrying vessel and head, and a structure configured to blend in with a landscape environment wherein the structure conceals at least a portion of the water-carrying vessel while leaving the head exposed. Depending on the configuration, the structure may resemble a rock, bark, plant trunk, stone, bedding material, pavers, edge brick and similar decorative landscaping items and may be fabricated of resins, cements, epoxies, fillers, polymers, metals, recycled materials. Natural articles like stone and bark may also be used.

Abstract: A system, apparatus and method for providing anti-rotation to an accessory for a network test instrument or the like, includes a threaded insert mounted in the test instrument, an anti-rotation feature receiving opening, and corresponding threaded fastener and anti-rotation mounting stud on the accessory, whereby engagement between the features ensures proper alignment and prevents rotation of the mounted accessory.

Abstract: A connector includes a locking mechanism that locks the connector in a socket but allows removal of the connector without a manual operation that relies on depressing the locking mechanism. The connector is released from the socket when a sufficient pulling force is applied to the connector. The connector includes a spring-loaded detent that flexes during the insertion process. The detent snaps into a locking position. The detent can be released from the socket when sufficient tension is applied on the connector such that inadvertent tension will not result in breaking the connector.

Abstract: An asphalt recycling plant is described that is oriented vertically with an elevator to convey ground-up road material to a top of the plant. The material moves does the plant by force of gravity through a sifter, sorter, crusher and return facility such that the dust and debris of the recycling process is substantially contained within the facility.
