  • Publication number: 20240176529
Abstract: Methods and a system that back up container-based applications running on an information handling system. Configurations are collected of the container-based applications. Volumes are determined as to the container-based applications as found in storage with persistent volumes. The container-based applications are quiesced, while clones of the volumes are created that are used by the container-based applications. A backup is performed using a data mover for each volume of the cloned volumes.

  • Patent number: 4569502
Abstract: A mechanically actuated pinch valve having a longitudinally extending flexible valve body with an inlet and an outlet and frame members extending along either side of the valve. Side plates are pivotally attached at each side frame. A lower pinch bar or roller extends between the side plates at the lower side of the valve body. A pair of arms are pivotally attached to the side plates and carry an upper pinch bar. The valve is actuated by means of a lever attached to the arms which simultaneously cause the pivot plates to rotate while bringing the upper pinch bar into compressing engagement with the valve body. In other embodiments the actuator mechanism may include a compound linkage or a lead screw for improved control and better mechanical advantage.

  • Patent number: 4339637
Abstract: An electrical container for completing an electric circuit comprising an electrically insulating housing, a collapsible gripper mechanism located inside the housing for fastening to an electrical wire, spring loaded pusher means protruding from one end of the housing which is adapted to move the gripper mechanism from inside the housing whereby the gripper opens and then closes upon the electrical wire when pressure is released from the pusher means and the gripper returns inside the housing. A conductor bar is located between the pusher means and a spring mechanism for return of the gripper inside the housing. The conductor bar is adapted to conduct an electric current from an electrical wire to a contact rod inside the electrical container only when the conductor bar is in contact with the contact rod.
