  • Patent number: 10653119
Abstract: The present invention solves the problem of flipping floating oyster cages by using a rotating system that lifts one side of the oyster cage while depressing the other side. The resulting rotation torque is able to invert the oyster cage to allow the cage and the oysters to temporarily dry out as a way of controlling marine biofouling. The invention may be mounted on a boat or between two boats and can sequentially flip the oyster cages along an anchored string.

  • Patent number: 5067719
Abstract: This invention relates to a spin communicating ball. Communication is achieved by coloring various sections of the surface of the ball with different colors that mix and form new colors when the ball is spun. Preferably, the colored sections are three mutually perpendicular great circles and, preferably, the different colors are the primary colors, red, blue, and yellow. For a golfer, the intersections of the great circles can be used as a focus spot in hitting the ball. Individual great circles can be used to align the ball with the target and the golfer with the ball and also as an aide in putting.

  • Patent number: 4903200
Abstract: Point of sale apparatus wherein a general purpose computer is utilized in emulating the functions of an integrated POS system. A general purpose computer is employed with a cash register specific keyboard to provide a broad range of computational and data handling capabilities for the apparatus. To perform in conjunction with the general purpose computer for its general computing function, a typewriter-type keyboard is employed with the apparatus. A prioritized protocol is developed between the two keyboard functions giving operational priority to the latter keyboard. To achieve a necessary reaction to cash register keying operations, a device driver program is positioned at a high priority level in the BIOS area of memory of the general computer to develop a vector interrupt deriving a jump address approach to the execution of cash register key function commands.
