    Abstract: A cleaning apparatus as for inside surfaces in residential air ducts, employing a baffle that locally increases air velocity at the surface of the duct to the entrainment velocity that will remove dust and detritus with the help of reaction driven scouring elements for the mechanical dislodgement of dirt and dust. The dirt and dust can then be carried to a collection point by an induced flow of air through the duct. The invention also contemplates a method of cleaning a duct utilizing the above apparatus.
