  • Publication number: 20110238439
Abstract: A system and method for evaluating the effectiveness of a medical treatment and predicting future medical issues is provided. A digital set of biometric data comprising a plurality of biometric data points is received and stored in a digital database. The digital set of biometric data is analyzed to determine its relative volatility. The relative volatility is then evaluated to help determine the effectiveness of a medical treatment and predict future medical issues.

  • Publication number: 20090013074
Abstract: This invention relates to distributed monitoring of networks for steganographically encrypted or encoded messages. Terrorists or criminal groups may use stenography to encode or hide messages in image data or other encrypted data. Law enforcement agencies seek to monitor the distributed networks for the hidden information. However, the size of the Internet exceeds the capacity of law enforcement resources. A method and system are described that use various computational devices distributed about the network to individually monitor network locations. Suspect data is documented on a set of servers. These servers then alert analysts to the presence of suspicious data. In one exemplary embodiment, a common interpreted programming language is used to program a set of instructions that may be performed by various devices distributed about the Internet to monitor network locations for encoded or hidden communications.

  • Patent number: 6955647
Abstract: A healthcare tool allows a patient to record daily parameters associated with the patient's clinical status, for example, body weight for congestive heart failure patients. A graph may be created showing the parameters on a control chart. The parameters are statistically analyzed against a control range, and when a parameter moves out of the control range, the system automatically creates a pop-up window alerting the patient that the parameter is outside the control range, and that the patient should consider informing a healthcare professional.

  • Patent number: 4226347
Abstract: A tool kit and protective cushion which can be connected to the saddle bar of a bicycle. The device is comprised of relatively soft material with recesses formed therein in which tools can be received. The material surrounds the saddle bar. This protects the thighs of the rider as the bike is being peddled. Additionally, should the rider slip off the seat, the groin area is also protected.
