  • Patent number: 4320453
Abstract: A control section consisting of an address processing circuit and two sequencers for use in a programmable microprocessor. The address processing circuit has two sets of input lines and one set of output lines, and is adapted to convert address information provided at the input lines into a signal at the output lines which consists of microinstructions suitable for use in other portions of the microprocessor. Each sequencer is connected to one set of input lines of the address processing circuit and is adapted to receive data from an external source and provide address information corresponding to such data to the address processing circuit. In operation, the signal provided at the output lines of the address processing circuit consists of time-division multiplexed microinstructions, each such microinstruction being derived from one of the two external sources.

  • Patent number: 4213327
Abstract: A flow bench includes a sealed box with an internal plenum having air flow from a source of pressure directed to several spaced points within the plenum; the sealed box includes an open upper end having a support surface around the open end including undercut spaced parallel grooves at an offset point thereon supporting a pair of seals in sealing engagement with the outer perimeter of a laminated porous panel that completely covers the open end; the flow bench further includes a removable cover.

  • Patent number: 4171710
Abstract: A closed system is provided for simultaneously mixing pesticide with water and transferring the same to a storage or spray tank for subsequent use. The system includes a pipe casing having a water inlet section for connection to a pump and a water discharge section for connection to the spray tank with a venturi chamber defined therebetween. A sealed hose connects the venturi chamber to a pesticide shipping container so that when water is pumped into the spray tank, pesticide is drawn into the venturi chamber in a proper proportion for mixing with the water.

  • Patent number: 3993221
Abstract: A receiving chamber is provided for receiving and enclosing a container of chemical such as an insecticide. While the container is in the chamber, a punch member perforates through the top and bottom of the container to permit the insecticide therein to transfer out from the bottom of the chamber to a main tank of water for mixing therewith. The resulting mixture is then passed to suitable spray apparatus for spraying the insecticide in agricultural operations. A plunger member coaxially surrounds the punch member and extends through the top of the chamber and can be lowered to crush the container after its contents have been emptied into the main water tank. In addition, the punch member includes an internal passage for passing flushing water into the container prior to crushing of the same so that it is cleaned out. The entire system is closed so that there is no risk of operators becoming contaminated by the insecticide chemical.
