  • Patent number: 7510102
Abstract: An aerosol dispenser utilizes a vertical container filled with a pressurized liquid. An actuator which has a nozzle is positioned on the valve stem which is located on the top of the container. The actuator when pressed vertically or horizontally allows a jet flow of liquid to spray from the nozzle. The dispenser is provided with apparatus for preventing formation of a residual liquid film after termination of the jet flow spray which would otherwise clog the nozzle.

  • Patent number: 4654213
Abstract: This invention relates to novel antimicrobial systems containing a water-soluble, non-ionic pyrethione derivative known chemically as the magnesium sulfate adduct of 2,2'-dithiobis-pyridine-1,1'-dioxide (referred to hereinafter as "the magnesium sulfate adduct") and a water soluble zinc salt. The antimicrobial systems of this invention may be incorporated in various useful therapeutic and cleansing compositions such, for example, as surgical scrub compositions, skin disinfectants, mouthwashes, deodorants, hospital cleaners, etc.

  • Patent number: 4004036
Abstract: Preparation of effervescent molded triturate tablets which are rapidly disintegratable and soluble or dispersible in hot or cold aqueous media, said tablets comprising a mixture including two separate, originally pulverulent materials, which are capable of reacting in the presence of water to produce a gas, for instance, sodium bicarbonate and citric acid, the tablets being characterized by the presence of a substantial percentage of voids, generally in the range of 15% to 35%, in the interior of said tablet resulting from the limited interaction of a very minor proportion of said separate, originally pulverulent materials during the production of said molded tablet.

  • Patent number: RE29682
Abstract: Pulverulent free-flowing water-soluble low calorie sweetener compositions having the general appearance of sucrose are produced by preparing a strong aqueous solution or slurry of an aspartyl-phenylalanine methyl ester sweetener at a relatively low temperature, admixing therewith a heated aqueous starch hydrolysate having a D.E. of zero to 20, and promptly thereafter, feeding the mixture to the preheater of a spray drier and thereupon spray drying said mixture to provide an expanded dry pulverulent composition containing a low moisture content.
