  • Patent number: 8880347
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to generating graphical turn indicators associated with road junctions having an on-route road segment and multiple off-route road segments extending from a center of the road junction. More particularly, the present disclosure provides graphical turn indicators that represent road junctions having multiple road segments that extend from a center of the road junction within close angular proximity with respect to one another. Each road segment of a road junction is mapped to a unique graphical element of the graphical turn indicator and each graphical element represents a particular turn type.

  • Publication number: 20100121870
Abstract: A system and method to search for items characterized by Japanese text using a mobile device. The search system receives keyed user input and converts the input into a set of search terms. After generating search terms, the system searches Japanese text fields for matching items accessible by the mobile device. One or more natural starting points in the text fields are identified for each matching item. Starting points may include, for example, the beginning of a text field and the locations of punctuation or changes in character set in the text field. After determining starting points, the system determines the distance between the matching text and a starting point. The system then provides an ordered set of search results based on the calculated distance and potentially other factors, such as the alignment of the match and the type of item.

  • Patent number: 4423165
Abstract: Water-borne reaction products of (a) carboxyl-functional polymers; (b) polyepoxides; and (c) tertiary amines are blended with (d) carboxyl-functional polymers having an acid number dissimilar to that of (a). The resulting products are useful as film-forming components of coating compositions which can be spray-, flow-, dip-, roller-, or electro-coated and are especially useful for spray coating the inside of two-piece tin-plated steel cans of beverages and food. The coating compositions are useful as such or can be crosslinked with crosslinking agents such as a nitrogen resin.

  • Patent number: 4302373
Abstract: Water-borne reaction products of (a) carboxylfunctional polymers; (b) modified polyepoxides; and (c) tertiary amines are useful as film-forming components of coating compositions which can be spray-, flow-, dip-, roller-, or electro-coated. The coating compositions are useful as such or can be crosslinked with crosslinking agents such as a nitrogen resin and, when coated on metal and paper substrates, they provide coatings of improved properties, including a high degree of flexibility during machining and stamping of the coated articles, corrosion resistance, gloss, hydrolytic stability, and nonadulterating of foods and beverages in contact therewith.
