  • Patent number: 4170248
Abstract: A sewer pipe is repaired by inserting a thin, flexible liner within the sewer pipe. The liner has an outer diameter less than the inner diameter of the sewer pipe, whereby an annular space is presented between the liner and the sewer pipe. This annular space is filled with a low viscosity magnesium based cement, such as magnesium oxychloride cement or magnesium oxysulfate cement, which has a maximum Marsh funnel viscosity of 40 seconds per quart.

  • Patent number: 4105621
Abstract: A polyamide composition comprising 30 to 74.95% of a normally flammable polyamide, from 15 to 55% of a reinforcing agent, preferably glass fibre, from 5 to 30% of a halogenated flame retardant together with a synergist for the flame retardant consisting of a mixture of 5 to 30% zinc borate and from 0.05 to 1.5% of an oxide selected from antimony, zinc, lead, ferrous, ferric, stannous, stannic and cadmium oxides or mixtures thereof, all percentages being by weight of the total weight of the composition.

  • Patent number: 4017148
Abstract: A tri-power periscope head assembly utilizing three modular optical assemblies comprised of a highly corrected Petzval type objective lens and first and second Galilean telescope assemblies, each of which is adapted to be simply and readily reversible. In one preferred embodiment, the Galilean telescope assemblies have respective powers of 1.4X and 2X. Manually operable reversing means are provided to alter overall visual system magnification at discrete values of 1.5X, 6X and 12X respectively.
