  • Publication number: 20240085470
Abstract: Apparatus is described for performing simultaneous corona deposition and surface electric field induced second harmonic (EFISH) measurements. Example designs include systems including corona guns having a focus tube for deposition of corona charge with windows therein for passage of a laser beam incident on and reflected from a sample surface. Various designs may also employ masks proximal the distal end of the focusing tube and/or proximal the sample surface. In some implementations, the apparatus is used to make ungrounded and therefore non-invasive measurements, for example, on dielectric on semiconductor such as, e.g., interface state density (Dit), flatband voltage (Vfb) and/or lifetime measurements.

  • Patent number: 6925345
Abstract: A method and system for manufacturing information handling systems analyzes orders for information handling system configurations to select one or more configurations for imaging. For instance, frequently ordered configurations or configurations that are time consuming to manufacture are selected for imaging. When an information handling system having a selected configuration is manufactured, an image of the manufactured information handling system is saved in an image cache. Subsequent information handling systems having the selected configuration are manufactured by copying the saved image to the information handling system, thus reducing the time for loading software onto the information handling system.

  • Patent number: 6785844
Abstract: A computer system factory download automated test process architecture includes an automated test system server (ATS Server), an automated test control center (ATCC) software program operable within the ATS Server for performing prescribed functions of a factory download automated test process, and an automated test machine (ATM) having a processor, a bootable device, and automated test machine client software, the bootable device for storing the ATM client software, and the processor for executing the ATM client software, in response to a prescribed boot, for controlling an operation of a prescribed download/test process of a respective ATM during the factory download automated test process, and for a respective ATM, the ATM client software for 1) retrieving installation files and test instructions from the ATCC, 2) passing control to the respective ATM upon a receipt of the installation files and test instructions for the ATM to perform at least one automated test according to the installation files and tes

  • Patent number: 4296454
Abstract: A circuit support enclosure has drop-in receptacles in a base chassis structure for individual circuit components. After circuit components are placed in the drop-in receptacles, a retaining chassis structure is mated with the base chassis structure. The base chassis structure includes two tongs which have pawls which interlock with slots in the retaining chassis structure. The retaining chassis structure includes bifurcated retainers and clamp nodules that clamp the electrical components into their respective drop-in receptacles in the base chassis structure.
