  • Patent number: 12575514
Abstract: The present invention provides a system and method for controlling oscillations within an irrigation span assembly. According to a preferred embodiment, a preferred method may include the steps of: detecting a start/stop event input for a first drive tower within a first time period at a first span location; detecting accelerometer data at the first span location within the first time period; processing accelerometer data to identify any oscillations at the first span location by the first span during the first time period; determining whether a detected oscillation is within a predetermined threshold; and programming a solid state relay timer to add an incremented delay to additional start/stop event inputs.

  • Publication number: 20230321900
Abstract: This invention is directed to a polymeric powder preferably a medical grade polymeric powder, for use in Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) for application fields including but not limited to medical, food, and pharmaceutical. The, preferably medical grade, polymer is biodegradable and can be used to manufacture objects such as medical implants and tissue scaffolds. The powder is biocompatible and biodegradable and can include a flow additive. The flow additive can consist of an osteoconductive flow aid suited for medical applications, a water-soluble salt flow aid that does dissolve during device degradation, or a combination of both. The water-soluble salt flow aid is used for applications where no leftover signs of implantation are observed within tissue after device degradation.

  • Publication number: 20070229475
Abstract: A single-piece top surface display and integrated front cover for an electronic device. In one embodiment, the cover comprises a thin, flexible, transparent layer coupled with a supporting structure. The flexible layer is supported above a display screen which is coupled with pressure activated sensors located under the display screen. The cover is dust-free, waterproof, and has a flat outer surface that is free of any steps or indentations. Users input data by applying pressure on the cover which causes the display screen to deflect and activate the sensors. The pressure exerted on the sensors is triangulated to register the position of the user input. In another embodiment, the cover is transparent, rigid, and directly contacts the pressure activated sensors which are located in front of the display screen or in the housing behind it. When pressure is applied to the cover, the cover deflects and activates the sensors. In both embodiments, an accelerometer identifies valid input events.
