  • Publication number: 20070285395
Abstract: An adjustable keyboard includes a first keying module situated pivotably with respect to the second keying module for providing a keyboard having improved ergonomics and comfort, and promoting improved productivity of a user. In one embodiment, the first and the second keying modules are pivotably mounted on a base assembly having fixed opposing tenting angles. In one embodiment the first and the second keying modules are mounted on a pivot link assembly configured to pivot the keying modules with respect to each other. In one embodiment, the first and the second keying modules are configured to also laterally separate. In one embodiment, first and second lift modules space a portion of the first and the second keying modules, respectively, from a supporting surface to form opposing tenting angles.

  • Publication number: 20020056554
Abstract: Ground injection, e.g. aeration, apparatus adapted to be mounted on or drawn by a tractor and comprising one or more tines (12) reciprocated vertically by a crank (13) and crank shaft (13a) driven from a motor (14). Each tine (12) defines an internal passage (27) with outlet apertures (28). A piston rod (19) connected to each tine and to a cylinder (21) has a piston (20) which forces air into a reservoir (23) and via a line (25) into the passage (27). The mechanism is timed such that a pulse of air is injected into the ground through outlet apertures (28) at the position of maximum penetration of the ground by each tine (12). Instead of air, a liquid or other gaseous substance may be injected into the ground where it is penetrated by each tine. The apparatus may include two or more rows of such tines and associated injection means.

  • Patent number: 4066224
Abstract: Knock-down shipping and storage reel for the electric cable, wire rope and fiber rope industries. The reel is constructed to be disassembled when it reaches its destination and the cable or rope has been payed off the reel, and is returned to its shipping point in a knocked-down condition. The reel comprises a pair of parallel spaced flanges or heads, which are fluted for strength when made from metal and have openings extending therethrough concentric with the centers of the reel heads. A spacer tube spaces the flanges apart, concentric with the centers of the reel heads and is detachably secured to each of these reel heads. The carrying media for the cable may comprise circumferentially spaced cables or strands of metal or natural or synthetic fibers, which may be round or generally flat in cross secton. The cables or strands each have metallic terminals at each end, one of which may be a boltlike head. The other end may be threaded to receive a nut, such as a wing nut.
