  • Patent number: 11524189
Abstract: A connector for use with a fall protection system includes a body, a gate, and a double action locking mechanism. The body includes a spine and two arms extending from the spine to form a gate opening, the arms defining axially aligned first and second apertures respectively. The gate is adapted and configured to move axially through the first and second apertures. In an open position, the gate extends through the first aperture, but a forward end of the gate is spaced rearwardly of the second aperture. In a closed position, the gate extends through the first aperture and the second aperture. The double action locking mechanism is adapted and configured to require application of two distinct and different forces to unlock the locking mechanism and permit the gate to move to the open position.

  • Patent number: 10646733
Abstract: A rigid rail assembly for a fall protection system comprises a rigid rail segment and a hanger. The rail segment comprises an upper portion defining an elongate slot and a lower portion. The hanger includes a hanger body adapted to be connected to a support member and a hanger coupling member extending downwardly from said hanger body and which is adapted to be received in the rail segment slot. The rail segment lower portion has opposed elongate side walls extending downwardly and outwardly and a flange extending inwardly from each of said side walls. The flanges define a track for the wheels of a trolley.

  • Publication number: 20180135301
Abstract: A floor grate fastener/clamping system includes a bracket having a length sized to span the distance between opposite sides of an opening in a floor grate and a J-hook having a pair of non-parallel side members which define hooks adapted to receive the bottom edge of a kick plate. A bolt extends between the bracket and the J-hook, such that rotation of the bolt brings the J-hook and bracket closer to each other, to enable the grate and its associated kick plate to be clamped together by the fastener/clamping system.
