  • Patent number: 11926647
Abstract: The invention encompasses components from microbial cells which are useful for antibody production, including peptides, polypeptides comprising these peptides, polynucleotides which encode these peptides or polypeptides, and antibodies directed to these peptides, polypeptides, or polynucleotides. The invention also encompasses to expression vectors and host cells for producing these peptides, polypeptides, polynucleotides, and antibodies. The invention further encompasses methods and compositions, especially vaccine compositions, for detecting, targeting, and inhibiting microbial cells, especially methanogen cells, using one or more of the disclosed peptides, polypeptides, polynucleotides, antibodies, expression vectors, and host cells.

  • Publication number: 20200358721
Abstract: Examples described herein relate to receiving, at a network interface, an allocation of a first group of one or more buffers to store data to be processed by a Message Passing Interface (MPI) and based on a received packet including an indicator that permits the network interface to select a buffer for the received packet and store the received packet in the selected buffer, the network interface storing a portion of the received packet in a buffer of the first group of the one or more buffers. The indicator can permit the network interface to select a buffer for the received packet and store the received packet in the selected buffer irrespective of a tag and sender associated with the received packet.

  • Patent number: 6925601
Abstract: An adaptive training system for use with an adaptive testing tool includes a user interface receptive of a field of application selection from a user. A plurality of task items are stored in a data store. The plurality of task items are organized by field of application and ranked by difficulty level. An adaptive item selector selects unfamiliar task items as training items based on the selected field of application and a user ability. These training items range in order of difficulty from items slightly below a user's ability to items sufficiently far above that level to allow for learning effects. The user ability is a function of previous user performance on an adaptive test in the selected field of application. The main purpose of the adaptive item selector is to ensure that training items are neither too easy nor too difficult for a person.

  • Patent number: 5816820
Abstract: A method of generating a simulation of a visual display of a computer session, includes the step of recording a visual display of a computer session by providing a journal record hook in binary format. Each message associated with each input from a computer input device is then recorded. After each message, the screen is checked for screen changes associated with each input from the computer input device and if detected, location coordinates of a screen change location are recorded and a detected screen change is copied as a bitmap. Cursor changes associated with each input from a computer input device are checked, and if detected, a cursor identification is recorded. The recorded visual display is then played back by providing a journal playback hook in binary format. An invisible window is then created to draw on and each recorded message is played back. It is also determined if there is a corresponding recorded cursor change and a corresponding screen change.

  • Patent number: 5812764
Abstract: The present invention is a system and method for securing communications over a network. A list of passwords is pseudorandomly generated and securely provided to at least two communicators. Upon initial communication between communicating parties, a password is pseudorandomly selected by one communicator and indirectly communicated to at least one other communicator through the use of an identifier. Subsequent messages between the communicators may be encrypted using the selected password. After an interval of time, a new password is pseudorandomly selected and used.
