Abstract: A weightlifting assembly includes a wall mount bracket configured for mounting to a wall surface and a weightlifting rack assembly connected to the wall mount bracket. The weightlifting rack assembly may have various configurations, including a foldable weight rack assembly, a pull-up bar, a fixed weightlifting rack, a wall-mount weightlifting rack, or various other configurations. The wall mount bracket may be elongated along a lateral width thereof and may have a first mounting region and a second mounting region spaced from each other along the lateral width of the wall mount bracket. The wall mount bracket may also include a central panel that is spaced from the wall surface to provide clearance for fasteners for connection to the weightlifting rack assembly, and in some embodiments, the weightlifting rack assembly may be connected to multiple wall mount panels.

Abstract: A dumbbell includes a handle member and two weight heads connected to opposite ends of the handle member. The heads each have a passage extending partially or completely therethrough to receive the ends of the handle member. In one configuration, the passages extend through the heads, and each head includes bevels around the inner and outer end openings of the passage. The heads in this configuration are connected to the handle member by welding, including weld beads formed within the bevels between the head and the handle member, at least partially around the corresponding end openings. A manufacturing method for a dumbbell may include providing or forming the handle member, casting the heads, and connecting the heads to the handle member by welding of this type.

Abstract: The present invention provides for a military-style frame-supported backpack with two separately accessible compartments, the frame compartment may hold a structural frame and the cargo compartment may store items such as weights, equipment, food/drinks, or other articles. A frame can be secured inside the frame compartment, and may contain padding for added comfort. The frame compartment and the cargo compartments are separated by a reclosable inner panel, such that the cargo compartment is externally accessible while the frame compartment remains closed. The backpack assembly contains shoulder straps that loop through holes in the pack and connect directly to the frame.

Abstract: A weighted bag having an outer shell and a handle assembly. The outer shell has a plurality of panels and at least one of one of a pair of slots and a first end loop assembly and a second end loop assembly spaced apart from the first end loop assembly coupled to the plurality of panels. The handle assembly has a handle grasping member and a strapping assembly, the strapping assembly extending from the handle grasping member and interfacing with at least one of the pair of slots and the first and second end loop assemblies so as to couple the handle assembly to the outer shell.

Abstract: A weight rack assembly may include a plurality of vertical frame members and a plurality of lateral frame members extending between the plurality of vertical frame members. The weight rack assembly may also include a first lateral frame member that includes a gusseted end bracket at one end, where the gusseted end bracket includes a base plate, a lateral extension, a vertical extension, and a top gusset that extends along a side of the first lateral frame member and where the top gusset extends from an upper edge of the lateral extension. The weight rack assembly may further include a second lateral frame member that includes a bottom end plate at one end, where the bottom end plate includes a tab that extends from a lower surface of the bottom end plate and is received in a slot on a foot plate.

Abstract: A barbell includes a bar having opposed end portions, each having an annular slot extending around the end portion, and a pair of sleeve assemblies connected to the end portions. Each sleeve assembly includes a sleeve having an axial bore receiving one of the end portions of the bar and a connection assembly including a split ring having two semi-annular pieces received within the slot, a proximal washer positioned axially inward from the split ring and engaging an inward side of the split ring, a distal washer positioned outward from the split ring, the distal washer engaging an outward side of the split ring, an annular member around the split ring, radially retaining the semi-annular pieces within the slot, and a retaining member engaging the distal washer and the bore to retain the connection assembly in connection with the bar and the sleeve.

Abstract: A shell assembly configured for holding one or more weighted articles includes an outer shell defining a cavity configured for receiving the article(s) therein, with a top, a bottom, and a shell opening providing access to the cavity. An extendible handle includes a grip, and a tether connected to the outer shell and the grip and extending between the outer shell and the grip, where the tether has flexible and rigid portions each forming a portion of the length of the tether. A storage compartment defined by an elongated sheath is positioned on the top of the outer shell and has an opening accessible from the exterior of the outer shell to receive the handle. The handle is moveable between a retracted position, where the handle is retracted into the storage compartment, and an extended position, where the handle extends outside the compartment and away from the outer shell.
