Abstract: A method of customizing communications to a transaction account user is described. The method may include the steps of incorporating a customized image sent by the user on a transaction card that is provided to the user, and displaying the customized image on one or more account message seen by the user. Also, a method to customize messages about a transaction account to an account user is described. The method may include the steps of sending the account user a customized transaction card having a customized image received from a person opening the account, and incorporating the customized image on one or more messages about the account that are sent to the account user.

Abstract: A system for preparing and delivering credit card statements to cardholders is operated by a credit card processing entity, and includes a statement processing system and a statement preview system. Statements are previewed by a card issuer after providing statement selection criteria to the preview system. After any requested corrections are made to the previewed statements, the statements have encryption and delivery options applied, and are then electronically transmitted to cardholders.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and machine-readable mediums are disclosed for strategic communications. In one embodiment, the strategic communications system comprises a rules data store including a decision rule, a recipient data store including recipient data for a plurality of recipients, and decision logic configured to determine for each of the recipients whether to include a decision-based component on the correspondence for the respective recipient based at least on the decision rule and the data associated with the respective recipient. The strategic communications system further includes correspondence manager logic to format the correspondence for each of the recipients and a printer including a selective perforation module to selectively add the perforation to the correspondences including the decision-based component.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for determining security features to be included upon a commercial instrument. Security features are dynamically selected for inclusion on a particular commercial instrument based on the characteristics of the customer, as applied to the security criteria related to the particular instrument. The selected security features are printed on the applicable instrument, and this process of dynamic selection and printing may be repeated for each of a number of additional instruments.

Abstract: A method of presenting financial statements to a consumer includes receiving implementation profile information from a client, wherein the implementation profile includes instructions that define options from which consumers may choose how to receive financial statements. The method further includes storing a representation of the implementation profile information at a database associated with a host computer. The method also includes transmitting from the host computer to a consumer computer a file that includes the options, wherein the options include: receive the financial statement by mail; receive the financial statement electronically; and receive the financial statement both by mail and electronically. The method further includes receiving at the host computer from the consumer computer a selection of one of the options and storing a representation of the selected option.
