  • Publication number: 20250028015
Abstract: An MRI phantom includes a first chamber containing a first fluid having a first set of mimic characteristics, such as T2 mimic characteristics, and a second chamber containing a second fluid having a second set of mimic characteristics, such as T2 mimic characteristics. The MRI phantom further includes a physical separator defining at least two interleaved regions of the first and second chambers, at least one of the at least two interleaved slits allowing the first fluid to flow therein and at least another of the at least two interleaved regions allowing the second fluid to flow therein without the first and second fluids mixing together.

  • Patent number: 7930789
Abstract: Footwear cleaning apparatus includes a receptacle well filled with a cleaning solution and a rotating brush. The rotating brush is supported by telescoping stems that extend and retract the rotating brush. In one embodiment, retracting a cover for the receptacle well activates the rotating brush, thus allowing a user to clean the sole of the footwear. In another embodiment, a sensor senses the presence of a user and automatically activates the rotating brush and telescoping stems for the apparatus to be used.

  • Patent number: 5133545
Abstract: The present invention relates to a progressive accommodating resistance exercise device including a retractable cable, resistance means for providing a resistance force opposing extension of the cable such that the resistance force is a function of the speed of cable extension for all resistance forces having a magnitude greater than the fixed cable retraction force, and adjustment means for varying the relationship between the resistance force and the speed of cable extension for all resistance forces greater in magnitude that the fixed cable retraction force. Means are also disclosed for minimizing the likelihood of joint hyperextension during use.

  • Patent number: 5106082
Abstract: An exercise belt apparatus for supporting at least one load about a user includes first, second and third lengths of webbing. The first ends of the second and third lengths are adjustably connected to one another. The first and second ends of the first length are slidingly connected along the respective lengths of the second and third lengths such that the user is secured between the first length and the portion of the second and third length connected between the ends of the first length. Releasable connection means adjustably located at the second ends of second and third lengths are provided for securing the second and third lengths to the at least one load.
