Publication number: 20090300676Abstract: Provided are a method, system, and article of manufacture for generating a combined video stream from multiple input video streams. A first video stream including a first product commercial generated to be played at a first playback speed and a second video stream including a second product commercial generated to be played at a second playback speed are processed. The second playback speed is faster than the first playback speed. A combined video stream is generated including a first panel in each frame to display the first video stream and a second panel in each frame to display the second video stream. When the combined video stream is played at the first playback speed the second video stream is rendered to appear at a slower speed than the second playback speed for which it was generated. When the combined video stream is played at the second playback speed the first video speed is rendered to appear at a faster speed than the first playback speed for which it was generated.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 29, 2008Publication date: December 3, 2009Applicant: INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MACHINES CORPORATIONInventor: William Hood HARTER, JR.

Publication number: 20090075745Abstract: A golf swing training club that strengthens and stretches the muscles used in golf, improves visual concentration, and increases hand-eye coordination. The golf swing training club accomplishes these objectives by use of a weighted, conical, golf ball sized club head that when used during a swing, causes a golfer to visually focus primarily on the ball and club head. The shape of the head resembles a miniature golf wood, having a flattened face and a curved back. This flattened face allows the golfer, when swinging, to make solid contact with the ball. The weight of the club head, when used repeatedly, stretches and strengthens the muscles used for golf.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 15, 2008Publication date: March 19, 2009Inventor: James William Hood, JR.

Publication number: 20080282647Abstract: Large cylindrical bales of hay, straw, or other forage or fodder are usually wrapped with a filament-type product, typically twine, or a sheet-type product, typically netwrap material, after a bale has reached a predetermined size. A method and apparatus are disclosed that permits the bale to continue to form during part of the wrapping process. A delay occurs between the initiation of the wrapping step and the alarm for the operator to stop the forward movement of the baler. By inserting the wrap material to an entry throat of the baler, new crop material may be added to the bale while the leading edge of the wrap material travels around the bale. The operator is notified only when the feed of additional crop material needs to be stopped for the wrapping operation to conclude. The present invention is applicable to the use of sheet or filament wrapping materials for binding round bales.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 11, 2008Publication date: November 20, 2008Inventors: William A. Hood, Thomas R. Walmsley, Calvin D. Meinders, Jerry E. Bandstra, Thomas M. Duenwald, Shane A. Bollinger
