  • Publication number: 20240336401
Abstract: An airless spray bucket and liner device for spray paint and stain applications. The device provides easy and convenient paint spraying operation and efficient clean-up of the bucket after paint spraying. The device includes a five-gallon bucket with a clean-out mechanism in the form of a hole and cap for color changes and easy cleaning. An extension and supporting legs provide stability during use, thereby preventing spills. A liner designed to conform to the inner walls and base of the bucket is removably positioned inside the bucket and the liner functions as a protective barrier between the paint stored inside the bucket and the walls of the bucket. An airless spray gun can be attached to the hole for spraying paint and a vacuum device can be detachably attached or integrated to the hole for cleaning out residual paint.

  • Patent number: 10113071
Abstract: A liquid intumescent coating composition comprising the following components: (a) 25.0-75.0 volume % of one or more organic thermosetting polymer(s) and one or more curing agent(s) for the organic thermosetting polymer(s), (b) 1.0-70.0 volume % of a source of phosphoric or sulphonic acid, (c) 6.0-60.0 volume % of a source of boric acid, (d) 0-2.0 volume % of melamine or melamine derivatives, (e) 0-1.0 volume % of one or more isocyanurate derivatives, wherein the volume % of components (a), (b), (c), (d) and (e) is calculated on the total volume of the non volatile components in the coating composition. The thermosetting intumescent coating composition is suitable for protecting substrates against hydrocarbon fires, for example jet fires. The coating composition can be used without a supporting mesh. The present invention also relates to substrates coated the intumescent coating composition, and a method of protecting structures from fire.

  • Patent number: 6075488
Abstract: A broadband antenna, including a centrally-positioned radiating element, a dielectric support element generally surrounding the centrally-positioned element, and a linear radiating element, which extends along at least part of the length of the centrally-positioned element and a portion of which is wound over the support element around the centrally-positioned element. The centrally-positioned element preferably includes a linear metallic radiator, and the linear radiating element preferably includes a wire, such that the portion of the wire that is wound over the support element defines a helical radiator.

  • Patent number: 6034648
Abstract: An antenna (1) comprises a first elongate antenna element (3) for connection, in use, to a signal carrying element of an apparatus with which the antenna is used, and a shorter second antenna element (5) extending substantially around a proximal end portion (9) of the first antenna element (3), a proximal end (6) of the second element (5) being connected to the proximal end (8) of the first element. A body (12) of a dielectric material is disposed between the first and second antenna elements (3,5). The antenna (1) has at least two optimum operating frequencies, each with an associated usable bandwidth, which bandwidths preferably overlap. The antenna (1) may include further antenna elements (20,22) which further extend the overall usable bandwidth (B.sub.u) of the antenna (1). One or more "ground plane" elements (16,17) are preferably also provided in the antenna for decoupling the first and second antenna elements (3,5) from an earthed screen or element in the apparatus with which the antenna is used.
