  • Patent number: 9421078
Abstract: The implantable plate for wall reconstruction comprises a textile support having anti-migratory protuberances on at least one face. If the support comprises thermoplastic fibers or filaments, each protuberance is formed with a conical configuration, by swaging, inside a peripheral zone in which said fibers or filaments are thermowelded, especially by ultrasound, a perforation being centered relative to the peripheral zone. The two faces can comprise protuberances, of a height substantially equal to the thickness of said support, for example distributed in a stagger and alternating from one face to the other, at the rate of 0.5 to 2 per cm2. The plate can comprise radio-opaque marking in the form of lines passing between the protuberances to constitute a grid.

  • Patent number: 8506595
Abstract: The anchoring and fixing implant is constituted by a continuous wire with rectilinear portions and curved portions. It comprises: a) a central curved portion forming a winding of substantially 1.5n turns, n being, for example, equal to 1, b) on either side and in extension of said central portion, a set of two rectilinear portions, specifically an intermediate portion and an end portion, connected to one another by a bent portion at an angle of the order of 30° to 90° . Also, the rectilinear end portions are oriented divergently so as to make an angle of the order of 60° to 180° between them. The surgical assembly comprises an implant as above, a fixing thread intended to be threaded in the central curved portion of the implant and an ancillary device.

  • Publication number: 20120160896
Abstract: The fastener, in rest position, lies fully flat along a general plane. It is in a deformable material perpendicular to the said general plane so that it is able to be deformed at the time of implanting. Starting from its distal end, it comprises a curved part curved along at least a main arc of a circle and a terminal part extending the curved part and passing through or close to the centre of the main arc of a circle. Advantageously, the curved part comprises: a main part curved along the main arc of a circle of mean radius R1 over an angular portion A1 of at least 120°, and an intermediate part, facing inwardly inside the main part, in an arc of a circle of mean radius R2 smaller than R1 over an angular portion A2. The applicator for the fastener comprises a storage and guide part comprising a helical housing in which the fastener is arranged in the deformed state.

  • Patent number: 7288064
Abstract: The gastric ring comprises an elongate element that can be deformed into a loop between a distal end portion and a proximal end portion, together with closure means suitable for folding the elongate element into a loop and for fastening the distal and proximal end portions together once they have been moved close to each other while looping the ring. At least the elongate element is made of a material that is resorbable, preferably over a period of about or less than 2 years, e.g. of a poly-?-hydroxy acid. The elongate element is constituted by a proximal link, a distal link, and intermediate links hinged about pivot axes.
