Patent number: 12120841Abstract: A command-and-control module for communications, ideally in military operating conditions, is adapted for easy insertion into, and removal from, a portable case. A chassis has front and rear vertical plates secured, e.g. welded, to a horizontal plate. At least one DIN rail, for securing electrical and electronic equipment, is mounted to a vertical plate. The case has electrical ports and outlets as well as multiple features to protect the sensitive electronic equipment inside. Shock absorbers between the horizontal plate and the inner surface of the case protect the equipment from mechanical shock. A thermoelectric cooler keeps the equipment from overheating. An inner cover protects the equipment from dust. The inner cover is bolted to the chassis. The chassis is not otherwise affixed to the case. When the bolts are removed, the chassis is easily lifted out by handles.Type: GrantFiled: July 18, 2023Date of Patent: October 15, 2024Assignee: Consolidated Networks CorporationInventors: John Kowalsky, Brian Baesler, Erik Howard, William Howard, Alec Valentino, Cesar Villalvazo, Todd Wilt

Patent number: 10627344Abstract: An improved method and system for analyzing multistate fluids using NIR spectroscopy. If the sample to be tested resides in a single state condition, the configuration file used in spectroscopic analysis will only be applied against a single model. However, if the sample to be tested is in a multi-state environment, an algorithm determines which model set of a plurality of model sets should be utilized based on the sample characteristics, and the configuration file used in spectroscopic analysis will be applied against the selected model. Results are generated showing the designated parameters.Type: GrantFiled: April 4, 2016Date of Patent: April 21, 2020Assignee: JP3 Measurement, LLCInventors: Jie Zhu, William Howard, Randy Bishop

Patent number: 9703005Abstract: Systems and methods for performing downhole analysis within a well bore employ a swept source laser that can be sent downhole to generate high resolution images of the well bore. Various embodiments can also determine other physical properties of a below ground structure. The swept source lasers can create images using low-coherence interferometry or optical coherence tomography. Systems and methods may also be used to determine fluid flow rates towards the sensor at discrete points, such as individual perforations, by measuring the Doppler effect on the light back-scattered from the fluid. Fluid flow information could also be extracted by measuring the phase shift of the light between subsequent light scans if a phase sensitive detection scheme is utilized.Type: GrantFiled: November 23, 2016Date of Patent: July 11, 2017Assignee: JP3 Measurement, LLCInventors: Joseph Paul Little, III, Jordan Dwelle, William Howard
