  • Patent number: 11964895
Abstract: A method of forming a glass sheet comprises: (a) forming a ribbon of glass from molten glass with a pair of forming rollers; (b) reducing horizontal temperature variability of the ribbon of glass to be 10° C. or less across 80 percent of an entire width of the ribbon of glass before the ribbon of glass cools to a glass transition temperature; (c) controlling a cooling rate of the ribbon of glass while the ribbon of glass moves vertically downward within a setting zone such that the ribbon of glass has a first average cooling rate before the ribbon of glass cools to the glass transition temperature and a second average cooling rate after the ribbon of glass cools to the glass transition temperature, the first average cooling rate being less than the second average cooling rate; and (d) separating a glass sheet from the ribbon of glass.

  • Patent number: 11964393
Abstract: A robot control system determines which of a number of discretizations to use to generate discretized representations of robot swept volumes and to generate discretized representations of the environment in which the robot will operate. Obstacle voxels (or boxes) representing the environment and obstacles therein are streamed into the processor and stored in on-chip environment memory. At runtime, the robot control system may dynamically switch between multiple motion planning graphs stored in off-chip or on-chip memory. The dynamically switching between multiple motion planning graphs at runtime enables the robot to perform motion planning at a relatively low cost as characteristics of the robot itself change. Various aspects of such robot motion planning are implemented in particular systems and methods that facilitate motion planning of the robot for various environments and tasks.

Abstract: A computerized method and system is provided for generating and presenting to a user behavioral insights impacting health outcomes for a person with diabetes. The method comprises scoring responses to one or more patient reported outcome (PRO) survey instruments completed by the user. The scoring generates one or more scores that measures the extent to which the person is experiencing a different social, financial, emotional, or psychological issue. The method also comprises analyzing insulin dosage and/or glucose measurement information to derive adverse health outcomes experienced by the person during a monitored time period. The generated scores and the derived adverse health outcomes are analyzed together to generate one or more behavioral insights that may impact health outcomes for the person. Each behavioral insight may comprise a correlation between one of the derived adverse health outcomes and one or more of the generated scores.

  • Patent number: 11448584
Abstract: A quick release corrosion coupon holder system comprising a shaft and a clip configured to pivot between open and closed positions to securely hold an end of a corrosion coupon. Preferably, no nuts, bolts, or removable parts are required to install or remove a coupon from the holder. Preferably a spring is disposed between the shaft and clip with one or more attached legs or a separate pin configured to secure the clip to the shaft and act as a fulcrum. An optional inwardly extending projection may be inserted through an aperture on the coupon. An optional spacer creates a gap between the shaft and clip to accommodate the thickness of a coupon. Preferably a lip and shoulder pair on the clip and an opposing lip and shoulder pair on the shaft contact front and back surfaces of the coupon, limiting contact surface area between the holder and coupon.

  • Patent number: 11282360
Abstract: A body-worn tracking device (BWTD) includes a global navigation satellite system (GNSS) device, at least one motion sensor, at least one processor, and at least one memory device. The at least one memory device includes instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to determine, based on data generated by the at least one motion sensor, a net distance between the last known location of the BWTD and a current location of the BWTD. The instructions further cause the at least one processor to determine, based on the net distance, whether the BWTD is within a bounded area that includes the last known location; and responsive to determining that BWTD is not within the bounded area, output an indication that the BWTD is not within the bounded area.
