  • Patent number: 6179317
Abstract: A trailer safety chain has a connection link member in the form of either a double S-hook or a single S-hook, the double S-hook cooperating with a unique matching slot for providing enhanced safety securing of the hook to a towing vehicle. A securing bracket for the chain is attached to a vehicle rear and includes two like unique openings which straddle a central tow hitch tongue and coupler ball for receiving two like trailer safety chain hooks. Each opening, which is T-shaped has intersecting slots, which accommodate either of the two hooks of different dimensions, and does so, without diminishing the enhanced locking security of the double S-hook.

  • Patent number: 5110164
Abstract: A door panel latching apparatus including first and second elongated rods telescoped together for relative sliding movement. The first rod is mounted to the door with a free end for latching near an upper door edge and free to rotate about its longitudinal axis but is prevented from moving longitudinally. The second rod is mounted to the door with a free end for latching near a lower door edge and free to rotate about its longitudinal axis and to move along its longitudinal axis. A handle is connected to the rods by a linkage for longitudinally moving the second rod when the handle is rotated about an axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the rods and for rotating both rods when the handle is rotated about an axis which is coincident with the longitudinal axes of the rods.

  • Patent number: 4155403
Abstract: A subsurface earth formation or petroleum reservoir, either previously or presently producing petroleum hydrocarbons, such as oil and natural gas, is analyzed. From production data, the actual fluid flux of the hydrocarbons to each well penetrating the formation is obtained. By analyzing the actual fluid flux in the formation, areas in the formation where little if any hydrocarbon flow occurred are located. The areas so located are likely to contain dormant oil, which may be produced by new wells.
