  • Patent number: 3933135
Abstract: This invention concerns an electronic controlled manifold injection system for internal combustion engines which provides a completely symmetrical flow of the air/fuel mixture to both ends of the engine, vaporizes the fuel by the application of heat to provide identical air/fuel charges to all cylinders of the engine, and by utilizing mass flow sensors in both the flow of air into the engine and the flow of fuel from the injection pump, provides a solid state control of the injection pump delivery to maintain a constant or programmed air/fuel ratio for all accelerating, decelerating and steady state operation of the engine.
