  • Patent number: 11023690
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing customized output based on a user preference in a distributed system are provided. In example embodiments, a meeting server or system receives audio streams from a plurality of distributed devices involved in an intelligent meeting. The meeting system identifies a user corresponding to a distributed device of the plurality of distributed devices and determines a preferred language of the user. A transcript from the received audio streams is generated. The meeting system translates the transcript into the preferred language of the user to form a translated transcript. The translated transcript is provided to the distributed device of the user.

  • Publication number: 20200409489
Abstract: Techniques enabling improved classification of touch or hover interactions of objects with a touch sensitive surface of a device are presented. A speaker of the device can emit an ultrasonic audio signal comprising a first frequency distribution. A microphone of the device can detect a reflected audio signal comprising a second frequency distribution. The audio signal can be reflected off of an object in proximity to the surface to produce the reflected audio signal. A classification component can determine movement status of the object, or classify the touch or hover interaction, in relation to the surface, based on analysis of the signals. The classification component also can classify the touch or hover interaction based on such ultrasound data and/or touch surface or other sensor data. The classification component can be trained, using machine learning, to perform classifications of touch or hover interactions of objects with the surface.

  • Publication number: 20200349949
Abstract: A computer implemented method includes receiving audio streams at a meeting server from two distributed devices that are streaming audio captured during an ad-hoc meeting between at least two users, comparing the received audio streams to determine that the received audio streams are representative of sound from the ad-hoc meeting, generating a meeting instance to process the audio streams in response to the comparing determining that the audio streams are representative of sound from the ad-hoc meeting, and processing the received audio streams to generate a transcript of the ad-hoc meeting.

  • Patent number: 7765161
Abstract: A system and method are disclosed for providing a plurality of payment services to facilitate electronic commerce. In one embodiment, services are provided within the context of a four-corner trust model comprising a buyer and a seller that engage in an on-line transaction. The buyer is a customer of a first financial institution. The first financial institution acts as a certificate authority for the buyer and issues the seller a hardware token including a private key and a digital certificate signed by the first financial institution. The seller is a customer of a second financial institution. The buyer uses its private key to sign payment instructions that are forwarded to the first or second financial institution for execution. The message may be forwarded to the first financial institution indirectly via the seller and the second financial institution.
