  • Patent number: 11977956
Abstract: In a general aspect, calibration is performed in a quantum computing system. In some cases, domains of a quantum computing system are identified, where the domains include respective domain control subsystems and respective subsets of quantum circuit devices in a quantum processor of the quantum computing system. Sets of measurements are obtained from one of the domains and stored in memory. Device characteristics of the quantum circuit devices of the domain are obtained based on the set of measurements, and the device characteristics are stored in a memory of the control system. Quantum logic control parameters for the subset of quantum circuit devices of the domain are obtained based on the set of measurements and stored in memory.

  • Patent number: 6923028
Abstract: A security locking system for trailers that features an interior locking bar that is controlled from the outside. The locking bar is traversed in a linear motion parallel to the door by a toggle mechanism. The bar is guided into the locking mechanism by two guides mounted to the inside of the trailer door. The toggle mechanism is turned using a common trailer latch that also locks by use of a key. Alternatively the latch could be modified to lock or unlock by using a remote activator. Once the latch is turned all the way (90 degrees) it will raise the locking bar into the upper secure bracket. The lower part of the locking bar will be lowered into the lock housing which is hidden just under the trailer floor, it will then be in position in the locking mechanism for the key pin to be inserted and then locked. The locking mechanism can also be modified to be controlled using a remote activator.

  • Patent number: 4072565
Abstract: Growth of cells in tissue culture and virus vaccine production in tissue culture in the absence of serum are disclosed. The cells in tissue culture are grown initially in a chemically defined medium containing protamine zinc insulin, and the protamine zinc insulin medium is removed before virus propagation. Supplementation with serum or serum fractions can be eliminated entirely; and improved virus production in a serum free system can be obtained.
