  • Publication number: 20120186032
Abstract: A adjustable fitting thread cleaning apparatus. The apparatus is specifically used for cleaning the threads of bolts. Bolts of any type namely ones used in the field of autos, machinery and equipment. The apparatus consists of 2 parallel elements that form an inner adjustable diameter. Parallel elements adjust from 7.5 mm to 30 mm in diameter for cleaning bolts in this size range. The apparatus consists of a shaft member with the purpose of connecting to a power drill to be rotated at high velocity speed. This creates an expeditiously quick and thorough clean of the bolt threads when the bolt is inserted in between the parallel elements.

  • Publication number: 20080262399
Abstract: A self-contained mechanical prophylaxis device and method is provided in which a non-rigid extremity compression sleeve, such as an elastic stocking is provided with an inflatable bladder system to apply pressure to the extremity, and inflation and control components are provided on or in stocking itself. The inflation and control components are preferably located within a common housing and held within a pouch or pocket on or near the compression sleeve. One or more bladders may be pneumatically inflated by the inflation components, which respond to inflation and/or venting commands issued by the control component. Preferably, the bladders are inflated in a sequential pattern to enhance the effectiveness of the VTED protection. The control program may include a single inflation control program, or may be one of several selectable control programs provided to the control component.

  • Patent number: 7267766
Abstract: A method and apparatus for aerating a surface layer in a stratified liquid body using a depth-adjustable, fine bubble, surface layer aeration unit comprising: a body comprising at least one hollow internal structure; an air inlet communicating with the at least one hollow internal structure, whereby air from an external air source may be introduced into the at least one hollow internal structure; at least one fine bubble aerator communicating with the at least one hollow internal structure, whereby air from the at least one hollow internal structure may be released through the fine bubble aerator into an adjacent fluid; and at least one weight pod attached to the body, wherein the at least one weight pod comprises structure for adjusting the weight of the at least one weight pod, whereby the buoyancy of the aeration unit may be adjusted so as to permit the at least one fine bubble aerator to be positioned at a desired depth in a fluid body.

  • Patent number: 6299968
Abstract: The present invention provides improved multi-layer general purpose stretch film products. The products comprise at least a core layer, adjacent inner layers and outer layers. The outer layers represent from 8 to 25 percent by weight of the film and comprise a blend of a linear low density polyethylene, a metallocenes catalyzed linear low density polyethylene, and a flexible very low density polyethylene. The inner layers represent from 15 to 35 percent by weight of the film and comprise a blend of linear low density polyethylene and a metallocenes eatalyzed linear low density polyethylene. The core layer represents from 15 to 35 percent by weight of the film and comprises linear low density polyethylene. The linear low density polyethylene components are either single products or blends of products. The final film exhibits improved properties needed in stretch wrap films such as puncture resistance and load retention.
