  • Patent number: 12091797
Abstract: Computerized methods of creating embroidery including capturing embroidery instructions, receiving instructions at an embroidery engine, creating planned patterns of stitches, and outputting instructions for stitching, including instructions for printing colors onto a thread before stitching. Color may be printed in a gradient or gradually faded, for example, from a start color to an end color, or from a start color to an intermediate color and from the intermediate color to an end color. Color may be gradually faded from a start location to an end location or from a start location to an intermediate location and from the intermediate location to an end location. Varying shades of colors may be printed, patterns may be repeated, outlines, segments, and vectors may be used, and intermediate stitch color may be determined based on number of stitches or vector length. Some embodiments allow a user to change embroidery instructions while reapplying unchanged instructions.

  • Patent number: 5263134
Abstract: A computer program provides for the display of window regions on a display screen whereby the content and size of one window region is controllable in two dimensions using means provided in another window region. A cursor device and a signal generation means is used to select the two-dimensional scrolling or resizing of a window region. Controls are also provided to move and terminate window regions. Upon termination, the configuration of window regions is saved on a data storage means for use when the window regions are re-displayed. Cursor movement can be restricted to the horizontal or vertical directions only.

  • Patent number: 4088589
Abstract: Multigrade lubricating oils blended from petroleum distillates and, if desired, a bright stock containing waxy or wax-like components and modified by the presence of copolymeric ethylene-higher alpha-olefins viscosity index improving agents have their low temperature performance markedly improved when said copolymer contains a minor weight proportion of ethylene by the addition of from about 0.15 to about 1, preferably 0.2 to 0.5, wt. %, based upon the total weight of said lubricating oil composition of a combination of pour point depressants comprising: (a) from about 0.05 to about 0.75 wt. % of an oil-soluble condensation product of a chlorinated wax of from about 10 to about 50 carbon atoms and a mono- or dinuclear aromatic compound; and (b) from about 0.05 to about 0.75 wt % of an oil-soluble polymer of C.sub.10-18 alkyl acrylate or methacrylate and/or an interpolymer of a vinyl alcohol ester of a C.sub.2 to C.sub.18 alkanoic acid and di(C.sub.6 -C.sub.18 alkyl) fumarate.
