  • Patent number: 6303270
Abstract: A composition is derived from an addition polymerizable organotitanium polymer which upon exposure to an oxygen plasma or baking in air, is converted to titanium dioxide (titania) or is converted to a mixed, titanium-containing metal oxide. The metal oxide formed in situ imparts etch-resistant action to a patterned photoresist layer. The composition may also be directly deposited and patterned into permanent metal oxide device features by a photolithographic process.

  • Patent number: 5883040
Abstract: A process for producing activated carbon from agricultural residues by heating the residues to a temperature in the range of about 250.degree. C. to about 550.degree. C. to volatilize organic compounds in the residues and to carbonize the residues and further heating to activate the carbonized residues. Activated carbon produced from agricultural residues.

  • Patent number: 4962924
Abstract: A batting tee includes a base plate having an upper surface and a lower surface including a slot extending in a plurality of discrete directions over said surfaces. A perimeter joining the upper and lower surfaces encompasses an area having a configuration of the sum of a conventional home plate and a forward extension thereto having outwardly flaring side edges. A fastener is situated in and is adjustably movable with respect to the slot. An upright ball support has a lower end coupled to the fastener and an upper end adapted to support a ball. The slot is in the form of inverted T-shaped groove in the upper surface of the base plate and include mutually confronting edges. A portion of the upper surface contiguous to the confronting edges are distinguished from the remainder of the upper surface of the base plate by a difference in surface color outlining the slot.

  • Patent number: 4329418
Abstract: Organotin semiconductor thin films are deposited on a substrate by plasma deposition of reactive organotin species. Conductivity can be increased by heat-treating organotin semiconductors in a reducing atmosphere at a temperature below the melting point of tin. Organotin semiconductors are rendered conductive by exposure to electron or particle beam.
