    Abstract: An apparatus is provided for purging a medical gas line having an outlet that includes a back body having a bore in communication with the gas line. An elongate body includes a distal portion and a proximal portion. The distal portion is configured for insertion within a bore of a back body of an outlet of the medical gas line. The distal portion includes a first port and the proximal portion includes a second port that is in fluid communication with the first port for permitting the flow of gas through the elongate body from or toward the bore.
