  • Patent number: 8468460
Abstract: A method for navigating among activity programs in the memory of a portable handheld multifunction electronic system. Simultaneously displaying on contact-sensitive display a plurality of category icons and a subcategory icon associated with a currently selected subcategory, each category icon having a link to one or more activity programs. If a category has been selected, replacing the plurality of displayed category icons with one or more activity program icons, each of the one or more displayed activity program icons corresponding to a separate one of the activity programs belonging to the selected category and to the currently selected subcategory. If another subcategory has been selected, at least changing the link of each separate displayed category icon to a different one or more activity programs, the different one or more activity program being associated the another subcategory and with each category of the category icons being displayed.

  • Publication number: 20120290453
Abstract: A method and system for automated invoice processing. An improved method for invoice processing based on an application service provider model in which invoices can be accessed and approved via the Internet from anywhere in the world. This method and system allows a company to manage the process of storing, reviewing, approving, and paying invoices from a single, centralized application. The invoice processing application is integrated with an accounting or ERP system such that payment can be made automatically and redundant data entry eliminated. The approval hierarchy used by the invoice processing application can be obtained from the human resources system of the client organization.

  • Publication number: 20120138218
Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed for charging molds used to mold wind turbine blades in which the molds have a root end and a tip end. The apparatus includes a first and second gantries located at the root end of the mold and capable of moving to the tip end of the mold. A layup end effector on the first gantry receives a length of reinforcing ply material and temporarily stores the ply material on the layup end effector. A clamping end effector mounted on the second gantry has a clamping board that is shaped to fit the root end of the mold. The clamping end effector grips the end of the ply material temporarily stored on the layup end effector secures the end of the ply material to the root end of the mold while the first gantry lays the ply material in the mold.

  • Publication number: 20120135099
Abstract: A compliant cover is placed over a part being molded in a molding process. The compliant cover is formed from a plurality of longitudinal cells positioned next to one another. At least one communication port is coupled to each longitudinal cell, and a source of fluid media at a preselected temperature is coupled to the communication ports whereby the longitudinal cells may be filled with the fluid media at the preselected temperature. The compliant cover may thus be used to selectively heat and cool the part being molded to decrease the time required by the part to rise to the temperature required to cure the resin in the part and to cool the part so that it can be removed from the mold.
