  • Publication number: 20040240994
Abstract: Some embodiments of the present invention provide a two-piece fan housing having a seam between first and second housing pieces. In some embodiments, a portion of the seam extends circumferentially about the fan housing while also extending axially. Also, some embodiments of the present invention provide an integrally-formed intake wall at or adjacent the fan housing intake aperture and extending axially into the fan housing. The axially extending intake wall can also extend radially inwardly to define an inlet restriction of the fan housing.

  • Patent number: 4632348
Abstract: A two piece mounting arrangement for a vehicle inside rear view mirror that employs a spring clip having a body integrally formed with at least two bow-shaped spring fingers and a resilient lock bar which prevents one part of the mounting arrangement from being removed from the other part without first depressing the lock bar.

  • Patent number: 4420088
Abstract: A rotary F-type railroad car coupler is described as having a rotary connector which is mounted for rotation within a cylindrical opening in the front end of the yoke. The rotary connector has an opening which extends longitudinally through the connector for receiving the butt end of the coupler shank. A horizontal key/slot arrangement, rather than a vertical pin/pinhole-type connection, is provided to attach the car coupler to the rotary connector. The key has an oblong cross-section defined by two pairs of opposing surfaces which are convexly curved outwardly from the center axis of the key which also has a pair of opposing ends that are cylindrically shaped and not spherical, as are the ends of conventional cylindrical pins presently used to attach the butt end of the coupler shank to the rotary connector.

  • Patent number: 4248354
Abstract: A Willison rigid jaw coupler with a locksetting pawl for interlockingly engaging the locklifting lever, when the lock is in lockset, is described. A special fulcrumming of the pawl is provided to cause disengagement of the pawl from the lever to allow the lock to return from lockset to the locked position.

  • Patent number: 4128178
Abstract: An improved rotary-type F Car Coupler. The yoke of the coupler is provided with the side opening through which the pin for holding the shank of the coupler head to the yoke is removed. A plate is provided for covering the side opening and retaining the pin in position between the shank and yoke. The retainer plate is rotated into interlocking engagement with the yoke, and a cotter pin and stop are provided for restricting rotation of the plate to maintain it in interlock relation with the yoke.
