  • Patent number: 5058302
Abstract: A portable rifle maintenance center is disclosed which includes a rectangular tray having gun support forks attachable to the rectangular tray for temporarily storing the rifle in a horizontal position. The rectangular tray has slidable covers attached adjacent to an open upper face of the rectangular tray which slide to access storage compartments within the rectangular tray. The gun support forks are removable from the rectangular tray and profiled to be stored within one of the compartments. The bottom face of the rectangular tray is profiled for temporarily resting upon a cover member of an enclosed accessory case. The rectangular tray includes a central opening therethrough, which provides access to a carrying handle of the accessory case, such that both the tray and the accessory case can be carried as a single unit.

  • Patent number: 4811836
Abstract: An adaptable cartridge container for receiving a plurality of cartridges of one of a plurality of calibers comprises a housing having a generally rectangular floor and four surrounding sidewalls. A cartridge support shelf is sized to be received within the housing adjacent its floor and includes first projections on one side of the shelf for supporting the shelf at a first height above the floor and second projections on the opposite side of the shelf for supporting the shelf at a second height above the floor. Two ammunition trays also sized to be received within the housing, include a plurality of apertures and downwardly descending sleeves to receive cartridges therein. The container is adapted to receive a wide variety of cartridge calibers by inserting the cartridge support shelf into the housing such that it is supported at either the first or second height above the floor followed by insertion of a selected one of the ammunition trays.

  • Patent number: 4666038
Abstract: A molded plastic gold equipment carrier includes a primary support frame and a secondary support frame hingedly connected thereto. Each of the support frames include golf club supporting legs which are interconnected by cross-members a selected distance above their distal ends which form ground engaging tips. The primary support frame includes a carrying handle also used to deploy the carrier to a stable opened position from a closed position. The legs of the secondary support frame extend beyond the legs of the primary support frame such that the secondary support frame may be engaged with the ground, and the primary support frame tilted outwardly from the secondary support frame by means of the handle to the opened position. Parallel projections on the first, second, third and fourth legs define upwardly open golf club retaining notches and support plastic golf retaining springs therein such that golf clubs may be supported in a generally horizontal orientation by pairs of the projections.

  • Patent number: 4481964
Abstract: A combination walking stick and shooting rest comprises a generally L-shaped body having an elongated first member and a second member extending generally perpendicular to the first member at one end. A plurality of serrations extend along the forward and rearward edge of the elongated first member. An adjustable shooting support includes a rectangular aperture through one end thereof which receives the first member. The support can be moved along the first member when oriented generally perpendicular thereto. Once located at a desired position along the first member, the support is canted to engage the serrations and provide support at the selected location. The end of the elongated first member opposite to the second member is tapered to a point for insertion into the ground. The second member includes an upwardly concave surface which serves as a fixed support and also accommodates the palm of a user's hand.
