  • Publication number: 20210295517
Abstract: Systems and methods based on thermal imaging for rapid detection of fever conditions in humans that provide for extremely inexpensive, mass producible, field deployable devices accurate in specific, relatively low temperature ranges, and in particular temperatures near nominal human body temperature. The system may include a thermal imager tailored for the application and a corresponding mass producible controlled temperature calibration source configured to provide real time calibration near the human body temperature of interest. The imager and source are deployed in a way such that target people and the calibration source will be within the imager FOV for fever detection. The combination of real time near measurement temperature calibration, with suitable thermography approaches, yield fast, accurate measurements in the fever range using low cost, easy-to-produce components.

  • Publication number: 20210293793
Abstract: A system comprised of an apparatus and a test device is described. The test device and the apparatus are designed to interact to determine the presence or absence of an analyte of interest in a sample placed on the test device. The test device and apparatus interact to provide a timer feature for determining a test device specific adjustable cut-off value that is used to ascertain whether signal from a test line in the device corresponds to a positive or negative results, irrespective of the time elapsed since placement of sample on the test device. The adjustable cut-off value renders the system relatively insensitive to incubation time of the test device, where if the incubation time is shorter or longer than needed for accuracy of a test result, the analyzer will report an invalid result, thus preventing the reporting of an incorrect (false negative or false positive) result.

  • Patent number: 11122887
Abstract: A vertically adjustable support or table with legs each having a pneumatic foot assembly operated to engage roller ball assemblies on the floor surface thereby allowing the table to be rolled. Each pneumatic foot assembly has a piston unit which is operated by pressurized air from a source, which is controlled by a valve on the table, and which is fluidically connected to a piston chamber of the pneumatic foot assembly. Once the table has been rolled across the floor and is in a desired location, the control valve is operated to release the air from the piston chamber and to rest a circular rim of the pneumatic foot assembly, and therefore, the legs of the table firmly against the floor surface for a stationary or fixed positioning of the table.

  • Patent number: 11127200
Abstract: A method and system may use photo deformation techniques for vehicle repair analysis to determine a repair time for repairing a damaged vehicle part. A user's client device may generate a three-dimensional (3D) image or model of a damaged vehicle part by capturing several two-dimensional images of the damaged vehicle part. One or several characteristics of the damaged vehicle part may be extracted from the 3D model and the characteristics may be compared to characteristics for previously damaged vehicle part, where the actual repair times were measured. A repair time for the damaged vehicle part may be determined based on the comparison and displayed on the client device.
