    Abstract: Disclosed herein are devices and systems for stimulating and manipulating tissue, such as skin, fascia and muscle tissue, to reduce pain or discomfort. In one aspect, a tissue stimulation and manipulation device includes a manipulating head having a casing with an application area configured to contact at least one site of a subject; and a propulsion source capable of producing mechanical motion or linear energy; the propulsion source and application area are operatively positioned relative to one another such that the propulsion source and contact portions on the application area cooperate to manipulate tissue at the site of the subject. Also disclosed herein are methods for using the disclosed devices and systems to treat skin, fascia and muscle tissue.
