  • Publication number: 20150029247
Abstract: A method of generating print data for an inkjet printhead having a plurality of ink planes. The method includes the steps of: receiving image data for a print job in a printer controller; retrieving keep-wet pattern data for each ink plane of the printhead, the retrieved keep-wet pattern data being determined using one or more input parameters; generating first print data for each ink plane in the printer controller based on the received image data; merging the first print data with the keep-wet pattern data to provide second print data for each ink plane; and sending the second print data from the printer controller to the printhead, thereby causing the printhead to print an image together with a keep-wet pattern. The keep-wet pattern is defined by a plurality of dots printed at a frequency sufficient to maintain hydration of each nozzle in the printhead.

  • Patent number: 8894847
Abstract: A liquid reclamation assembly is provided for processing a lubricant or other liquid. The assembly includes a housing interior for receiving a filter subassembly. A manifold is in fluid communication with a discharge region of the filter subassembly, the manifold comprising a primary manifold passage for passage of source fluid and a series of draw ports. The cross sectional area of the primary manifold passage is greater than the total cross sectional area of the series of draw ports to create a venturi effect to draw fluid through the assembly. The filter subassembly includes a series of target filtration segment, each segment being designed for a specific reclamation process. An entry manifold governs and distributes the fluid to each of the target filtration segments. Results of an analysis of the fluid can be used to determine which target filtration segments are desired for processing the fluid. Valves within the entry manifold can direct the flow accordingly.

  • Patent number: 8894851
Abstract: A lubricant reclamation system comprising a reclamation housing providing an exterior shell and an interfacing surface defining a housing interior. One or more conductive reclamation subassemblies are disposed within the housing interior. Each conductive reclamation subassembly comprises a conductive reclamation matrix having a series of conductive reclamation passages passing therethrough. Power is provided to the conductive reclamation matrix to energize the material. The energized material aids in the reclamation process by interacting with ionic characteristics of the fluid, magnetic particulate matter, and the like. An additive delivery subassembly is disposed within the housing interior. The additive delivery subassembly comprises an additive form having a series of additive passages passing therethrough. An additive is embedded within the additive delivery subassembly in a manner enabling dissolution of the additive as the fluid passes through the plurality of additive passages.

  • Patent number: 8890962
Abstract: Systems and methods for performing digital image stabilization implemented in a digital camera. The digital camera includes a gyroscope to measure motion of the digital camera and processes the signals from the gyroscope to track the total displacement of an image sensor over a series of frames of video. The algorithm implemented by the digital camera includes a processing block for correcting a DC bias in the signals from the gyroscope, a filter for attenuating the signals during periods of high acceleration, a processing block for detecting the start of a panning motion, and a processing block for quickly retracing the digital image stabilization correction back to the center of the image sensor during a panning motion.

  • Patent number: 8885558
Abstract: A method enables a radio receiver to distinguish sensor probes supplying data to the receiver over a long period of time. The method includes each probe generating a random number sent to the receiver to identify the probe. Each probe and the receiver also uses a pseudo-random process to identify a time of transmission for each probe. The pseudo-random process helps keep the transmission times for the probes separate in the presence of oscillator drift. If a transmission collision occurs, the receiver ignores all probes in the collision and waits until the pseudo-random process separates the probe transmissions.

  • Publication number: 20140330742
Abstract: Representations of user input associated with one or more computer-readable customer profiles that are associated with a subscription service can be received. Additionally, a potential upcoming cancellation of a subscription to the subscription service for a subject customer profile can be detected. After the detection of the potential upcoming cancellation, a tailored customer saving procedure can be selected from among a plurality of available customer saving procedures (e.g., using a weighted algorithm and/or set selection rules). The selection of the tailored customer saving procedure can use and be based on computer-readable data representing user input associated with the one or more customer profiles. In response to the detection of the potential upcoming cancellation, the selected tailored customer saving procedure can be performed.

  • Patent number: 8872927
Abstract: Systems and methods for performing fast zero recovery with alpha blending with digital image stabilization implemented in a digital camera. The digital camera includes a gyroscope to measure motion of the digital camera and processes the signals from the gyroscope to track the total displacement of an image sensor over a series of frames of video. If the motion is a sustained motion in a substantially uniform direction, then the digital camera recognizes the motion as a panning-type motion and activates a fast-zero recovery with alpha blending operation to retrace the displacement of active pixel locations to the center of the image sensor. Alpha blending is performed to smooth the transition from a normal image stabilization operation to the fast-zero recovery with alpha blending operation.

  • Publication number: 20140229919
Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods and systems for instrumenting a “semantic stack trace” (SST), where semantic information and dependency relationships between a plurality of code elements (“elements”) are captured during runtime execution of various front-end declarative languages, and are subsequently extracted for display in a SST-enabled interactive user interface with traversing capability. Embodiments of the present invention enable a framework for traversing and debugging complex code, providing an unprecedented lens into understanding code behavior in mixed imperative and declarative construction languages.

  • Patent number: 8792683
Abstract: An optical navigation subsystem may be used when obtaining a candidate fingerprint for a mobile communication device (e.g., for authentication purposes). To accommodate such use of the optical navigation subsystem, the optical navigation subsystem may be adapted to automatically adjust a processed image sensor window from a first set of window dimensions (e.g., suitable for optical navigation) to a second set of window dimensions (e.g., suitable for fingerprint capture). Alternatively, a single, static set of window dimension may be employed in conjunction with stitching algorithms, or other methods suitable for forming candidate fingerprint images by combining a plurality of images obtained using the static set of window dimension.
