The one or more thermal emitters are configured to generate heat to deice the one or more external structures. The one or more thermal emitters are configured to receive electrical power from one or more of an auxiliary power unit of the aircraft, a power distribution system of the aircraft, one or more engines of the aircraft, or an external power cart that is separate and distinct from the aircraft.

Abstract: Systems and methods for managing access to data based on a geographic location requirement are disclosed herein. According to an aspect, a system includes a first computing device comprising a data storage manager configured to manage access to stored data based on one or more predetermined rule(s) that specifies geographic location requirement(s) for permissible access to the stored data. The manager is also configured to receive, from a second computing device, a request to access the data. Further, the manager is configured to determine a geographic location of the second computing device, determine whether the geographic location of the second computing device meets the geographic location requirement(s), and permit or deny access to the stored data by the second computing device in response to determining that the geographic location of the second computing device meets the geographic location requirement(s).

Abstract: Systems, computing devices, and methods for authenticating privileged subsystem access by policy and by use of a security key generated at boot are disclosed herein. According to an aspect, a method includes generating a security key upon boot of a host-facing interface for a client. The method also includes communicating the security key to a baseboard management controller. Further, the method includes authenticating, to the host-facing interface commands, based on the security key. The method may also include implementing a policy associated with the security key. Further, in response to determining that a received command is not allowed by policy or the security key is not authenticated, an external server port or debug header may be disabled to prevent execution of the command.

A tubular receiving member having an internal channel is provided for loosely receiving the stake. The tubular receiving member can be made of black PVC conduit or other suitable materials and has an upper end that is flared to provide an opening that is larger than the internal channel in the tubular receiving member and a lower end that is sealed to prevent water from entering the tubular receiving member. The lower end of the tubular receiving member is adapted to be mounted in the ground.

Abstract: There is disclosed an apparatus and method for entering information on small keyboards where the apparatus is worn on the thumb or finger like a ring and has a protrusion that is securely attached to said apparatus and acts as an extension of the thumb or finger when striking keys on a small keyboard. The apparatus can be made of, or in combination of, elastic, plastic, rubber, velcro, or other suitable material that fits snugly over the thumbs or fingers.

A first storage reservoir retains the first fluid and has an outlet. A first application conduit communicates with the outlet of the first storage reservoir. The first application conduit receives the first fluid from the outlet of the first storage reservoir and dispenses the first fluid therethrough. A first drain pan receives the first fluid. A second storage reservoir retains the second fluid and has an inlet and an outlet. A second application conduit communicates with the outlet of the second storage reservoir. The second application conduit receives the second fluid from the outlet of the second storage reservoir and dispenses the second fluid therethrough. A concentration measuring device measures the concentration of the second fluid.

Abstract: A system for making pasta comprises in combination a dough bin having a bottom, extrusion holes associated with the bin bottom, and a hydrated pasta dough mixture in the bin which extrudes from the extrusion holes. Due to the percentage of fluid ingredients in the dough mixture, the pasta is extruded through the extrusion holes due to the force of gravity.
