  • Publication number: 20230346141
Abstract: An apparatus having a flat foldable trifold structure is disclosed for holding printed materials, including mailable literature. In some implementations, the apparatus includes a foldable body having a first and second portion. The first portion is folded along a lateral axis of the foldable body. The first portion has a rectangular region defined by four points and four boundaries, where three of the boundaries define incisions in the first portion such that the remaining boundary is permitted to be folded relative to a remaining area of the first portion to define a second fold extending along the lateral axis. The second portion includes a base region and a protruding region which is folded relative to the base region to define a third fold extending along the lateral axis. When the first boundary is folded relative to the remaining area of the first portion, the third fold receives an end defined by the remaining boundary.

  • Publication number: 20200155789
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for determining an efficacy of music therapy are provided. An example system initiates a music therapy session for a patient on a music therapy device. The system provides the patient with a predefined type of music during the music therapy session at a pre-defined volume. The system ends the music therapy session. The system then receives a request to determine an efficacy of music therapy sessions for the patient for a defined time period and obtains personal and listening metrics associated with the patient's music therapy sessions for the defined time period. The system correlates the personal and listening metrics with the patient's medical metrics for the defined time period in order to determine the efficacy of music therapy sessions for the patient.

  • Patent number: 9605506
Abstract: A stuffing box lubrication system for oilfield pumping units automatically delivers to the stuffing box, at specified time intervals, a precise volume of lubricant. The stuffing box lubrication system has a grease reservoir, a pump, a controller, a high pressure hose and grease fitting, and a stuffing box which receives the grease. In situations where the stuffing box in use is not equipped with a ported inlet for receiving the grease, the present invention may further include a stuffing box adapter, having a ported inlet, where the stuffing box adapter couples with the stuffing box.

  • Patent number: 8046354
Abstract: A query facility for database queries saves and re-uses query execution strategies, and automatically detects that a strategy should be re-optimized as a result of changes to an indexed variable value. Preferably, the number of records evaluated and selected by the index value condition is dynamically monitored during execution, and an alternative query strategy is initiated when this number appears to be out of proportion to expectations. In an exemplary embodiment, an indexed search strategy is changed to a table scan strategy (or vice versa) as a result of a change to the number of records eliminated by the indexed value, although other examples are possible. Preferably, the query engine initiates an alternative search strategy and concurrently continues to execute the original search strategy as separate threads. Search results are obtained from whichever thread completes first.

  • Publication number: 20100037818
Abstract: Uniform portions of fine powders are deposited on a substrate by electrostatic attraction in which the charge of the electric field and polarity of the charged particles are varied repeatedly to form a buildup of powder on the carrier surface.

  • Patent number: 7632533
Abstract: A method for depositing controlled quantity of particles on a substrate comprises providing aerosolized particles in a deposition zone having first and second electrodes, and creating an electrostatic field between the first electrode and the second electrode to create a pool of ions at the first electrode, charging particles within the deposition zone with the ions, and moving the particles towards and depositing the particles onto the substrate. In order to prevent excessive charge build up on the substrate, the electrostatic field is periodically reversed.
