  • Patent number: 9078183
Abstract: A data forwarding method and system is provided for avoiding data loss during a vertical handover by forwarding data through an IP tunnel established between a newly introduced network entity called a Data Forwarding Function of the serving network and a Forward Attachment Function of a target network. A data forwarding method of a data forwarding unit located in a serving network for a vertical handover according to the present invention includes receiving an address of a forwarding attachment unit located in a target network and a data forwarding preparation request that are transmitted by a user equipment; establishing an Internet Protocol (IP) tunnel to the forwarding attachment unit according to the data forwarding preparation request; and forwarding, when a vertical handover is initiated, handover packets to the forwarding attachment unit through the IP tunnel.

  • Patent number: 7593064
Abstract: A system determines available system resources along with the complexity of video clips in order to initiate and adapt automatic video clip playback. A method automatically concurrently plays multiple video clips in at least one composite video image by automatically determining available processing resources based on a number of available processors and associated corresponding individual processor operational speed. The method involves automatically determining a number of video clips that may be concurrently played and displayed in a composite video image by the determined available processing resources based on a number of the multiple video clips and associated corresponding individual video clip compression type. The method also includes initiating concurrent play and display of the determined number of video clips in the composite video image.

  • Publication number: 20080133572
Abstract: A system facilitates user review and editing of automatic values for various data items that are set based on setting a related data item or are transferred, by displaying a comprehensive list of data items that are set when a related data item is given a value. A system for automatically populating document data fields includes a repository for associating an individual value of a first data item with at least one auto-fill value of a different second data item. The different second data item auto-fill value is automatically incorporated in a data field of a document in response to selection of the first data item value for incorporation in a different data field of the document. A user interface uses information acquired from the repository for initiating generation of data representing at least one display image identifying the auto-fill value of the different second data item in response to selection of the first data item value for incorporation in the different data field of the document.
