Abstract: A method of detecting a stealth virus is provided by culturing a sample under conditions in which any stealth virus in the sample is able to induce a cytopathic effect. A method for culturing a virus is also provided by (a) cocentrifuging a sample of said virus with a permissive cell line of indicator cells; (b) inoculating the cell mixture into culture vessels; (c) adding viral enhancing medium to the culture; and (d) detecting in vitro a cytopathic effect in the permissive cell line.

Abstract: An isolated stealth virus that is positively correlated with chronic fatigue syndrome is provided from a patient having a disease. Examples of diseases the patient may have include multiple sclerosis, unexplained encephalopathy, acute encephalopathy, psychiatric disorder, Alzheimer's disease, fibromyalgia, myositis, muscle neuritis, chronic pain syndrome, salivary gland enlargement, autoimmune disease, and unexplained hepatitis. A vaccine having an isolated stealth virus or antigen is also provided.

Abstract: Logical Data Access to the physical structure of a relational database is provided for one or more Applications. Applications are developed using the logical entity types and logical entity type attribute names as described in a logical data model. The Applications then use a Logical Data Access Interface to access each of the required physical relational database tables via the Logical Data Access Layer. Applications then use logical entity type and logical entity type attribute names as specified in the Logical Data Model in making Logical Data Requests to the Logical Data Access Layer. The Logical Data Access Layer provides a rich set of functions for allowing an Application to control and manage a database, build and execute database queries and interface with physical database.
