  • Publication number: 20260058404
Abstract: A cover for a connector includes a base and a support connected to the base. The base has an end wall with a cover cable passageway extending through the end wall. The support extends from the end wall around the cover cable passageway. The support has a support surface with a first end adjacent to the cover cable passageway and a second end opposite the first end. The support surface is curved between the first end and the second end to support a bending radius of a cable extending through the cover cable passageway.

  • Publication number: 20250323452
Abstract: A seal includes a body and a plurality of lugs separated from one another around a perimeter of the body and extending from the body along the longitudinal direction. The body defines a scaling passageway extending along a longitudinal direction through the seal. The body and the lugs are monolithically formed in a single piece from an elastomeric material.

  • Publication number: 20250273911
Abstract: A shield contact system includes a first shield and a second shield. The first shield has a first shield body with a first leading edge and a guiding element extending from the first leading edge along an insertion direction. The second shield has a second shield body defining a receiving space. The second shield body has a second leading edge. The first shield and the second shield are inserted together along the insertion direction to an inserted state in which the guiding element is positioned within the receiving space and the first leading edge is separated from the second leading edge along the insertion direction. The first leading edge does not overlap the second leading edge along the insertion direction in the inserted state.

  • Publication number: 20240372300
Abstract: A shield of a connector system includes an outer contact and a diecast disposed around the outer contact. The diecast has a first diecast half and a second diecast half that are attached together around the outer contact in a terminated position of the diecast. The first diecast half and the second diecast half deform a beam of the outer contact between the first diecast half and the second diecast half in the terminated position. A first bottoming surface of the first diecast half abuts a second bottoming surface of the second diecast half in the terminated position.

  • Patent number: 10811817
Abstract: An electrical connector includes a housing having a mating end and a wire end with a base and terminal channels extending through the base into the mating end. The terminal channels receive terminals mated with a mating electrical connector. The base has a wire support supporting wires extending from the terminals. The wire support includes support walls forming wire channels. A wire dress cover is coupled to the wire support and includes an end wall and wire pushers extending from the end wall. The wire pushers load the wires into the wire channels. The wire pushers are received in the wire channels to hold the wires in the wire channels. The wires are supported at the rear by the wire pushers and at both sides by the support walls to provide strain relief for the wires in the wire support.
