  • Patent number: 11940256
Abstract: Modular cartridges are disclosed that can be initially assembled, disassembled, and reprocessed by hand. The cartridge case is suitable for use with a variety of projectile designs and weights and for use with a range of propellant amounts and primer types. The variety of projectiles and range of propelling forces permits the present invention to provide cartridges for all types of uses, including indoor and outdoor target shooting, training, non-lethal self-protection, and lethal uses. The cartridges include a case, a projectile, a primer, and a selectable amount of propellant (if any), and primer housing insert” and which is configured to be releasably attached to the striking end of the case and to contain the primer and the desired amount of propellant.

  • Publication number: 20110308133
Abstract: Rugged, rapid-target-acquisition iron sighting systems in which least one of the front sight and the rear sight has a multiple-lead thread elevation screw post for vertically adjusting a sighting point are disclosed. The use of a multiple-lead thread elevation screw post permits the relatively fast adjustability of a coarse threaded screw post while providing the stability of a fine-threaded screw post. Embodiments of the present invention also include guns equipped such iron sighting systems.

  • Patent number: 7946074
Abstract: A sighting system for a fire arm, e.g. machine gun includes front and rear sight assemblies. The rear sight assembly has a pivotal L-shaped member having two different sized apertures. Pivotal and windage lateral movements of the L-shaped member are achieved via a threaded shaft and a knob held in place via a detent screw/plunger assembly. The L-shaped member is secured in place via the detent plunger spring assembly. The front sight assembly is configured for windage lateral movement and has a sight post that is raised and lowered and secured in place via detent plunger spring assemblies. Another embodiment includes a rear sight assembly which may be configured for windage lateral movement. Detent plunger spring assemblies secure an aperture member of the rear sight assembly and the front sight assembly during operation of the fire arm, and the front sight assembly is configured for elevational and windage lateral movements.
