  • Publication number: 20230053383
Abstract: Provided is a method including receiving, by a user device, a request from an identity service to approve communicating a user proof-of-identity to a relying party. A user of the user device is prompted to request a one-time transaction identifier based on the request. Based on a first input from the user, the user device requests the one one-time transaction identifier from the identity service. In response to the request for the one-time transaction identifier, the user device receives the one-time transaction identifier from the identity server and displays the one-time transaction identifier on a first user device screen. The user inputs the one-time transaction identifier on a second user device screen and the user device communicates the one-time transaction identifier to the identity service. In response to receiving the at least one inputted one-time transaction identifier, the relying party determines whether to approve or deny a transaction.

  • Patent number: 11576773
Abstract: A method for providing blood flow across a surface of a mitral stent-valve frame. A portion of the stent-valve frame is placed into the left atrium and into the left ventricle with a securement band located intermediate that is attached to either the annulus or to a second support frame that is placed initially and above the mitral annulus without affecting native leaflet function. Portions of the frame above the securement band allow blood flow radially inwards to reduce stagnation regions in the atrium or outwards below the securement band to help cleanse native leaflets.

  • Publication number: 20230033984
Abstract: A process for manufacturing continuous ceramic tape includes steps of heating a ceramic feedstock to a molten state and spraying molten droplets of the feedstock onto a deposition surface. The method further includes forming a ceramic coating on the deposition surface by accumulating the droplets, which solidify and are directly bonded to one another. The deposition surface is non-stick with respect to the ceramic coating such that the coating may be peeled off of the deposition surface as a continuous ceramic tape, without fracture. Additionally, in embodiments, the deposition surface is removed by running the deposition over a bending edge, chemically stripping or dissolving the deposition surface, or burning the deposition surface.

  • Publication number: 20230021836
Abstract: An aircraft includes a fuselage, a wing connected to and extending outward from the fuselage, and an engine mounted to the wing. The engine includes turbomachine defining a centerline axis, a fan, and an exhaust section with an outlet nozzle. The turbomachine defines a centerline axis. The fan is connected to and is disposed upstream from the turbomachine. The fan is disposed to rotate about the centerline axis. During operation of the engine, an exhaust stream is expelled from the outlet nozzle of the exhaust section. The exhaust stream defines a mean direction of flow in the downstream direction from the exhaust section. The mean direction of flow defines a first angle with the centerline axis of the turbomachine that is greater than zero such that the centerline axis is oriented downwardly along the vertical direction relative to the mean direction of flow of the exhaust stream.

  • Publication number: 20230017606
Abstract: Embodiments of negative pressure wound therapy systems and methods for operating the systems are disclosed. In one embodiment, a negative pressure source can provide negative pressure via a fluid flow path to a wound dressing comprising a stabilizing structure. The stabilizing structure can be inserted into a wound and collapse upon application of negative pressure to the wound when the stabilizing structure is positioned in the wound. A controller can in turn determine a measure of collapse of the stabilizing structure from a pressure in the fluid flow path while the negative pressure source maintains a magnitude of the pressure in the fluid flow path within a negative pressure range. The controller can output an indication responsive to the measure of collapse.
