  • Patent number: 11854366
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a leak monitoring system and associated method which is being configured to detect plumes of volatile organic compounds (VOC) as an alternative solution to the EPA Method 21, which measures VOC concentrations at the surface of each component. The leak monitoring system is a multi-layered system that includes monitoring performed by sensors that are fixed in place and sensors that are mobile. Each monitoring method is a layer and it complements and augments other layers. All the sensors wirelessly communicate with a central control through a gateway. The control unit further includes a software platform, which analyzes the data provided by the sensors in combination with other informetrics such as meteorological conditions and plant info to both identify the presence of a gas leak and to pinpoint a general location of the gas leak.

  • Publication number: 20170124576
Abstract: Methods and systems for estimating sales values are provided. A computer system is used to receive product data for a plurality of products in a market. The product data can be obtained from one or more product pages accessed over a computer network. The product data is used to generate input variables, which can be used to generate analysis variables for the market. Analysis variables correlated to sales values can be determined by fitting to measured market data, and the identified analysis variables can be used to generate estimates of sales values, including estimates of sales values other than those for which market data was measured.

  • Patent number: 9392734
Abstract: A security wrapper for an electronic assembly and methods for forming such a wrapper are provided. A first wrap layer and/or a second wrap layer may be made from a curable adhesive material. A flexible layer is interposed between the first and second wrap layers, which in combination constitute a pre-formed wrapper in an uncured condition. The pre-formed wrapper may be mounted onto an electronic assembly including circuit components having respective three-dimensional profiles which can vary over a surface of the electronic assembly. The pre-formed wrapper may be subjected to a curing process so that in a cured condition conformable adherence is provided with respect to the circuit components. This arrangement provides a thermal coupling effective to dissipate heat produced by such circuit components and further results in a low-profile for the assembly of the wrapper and electronic assembly.

  • Patent number: 8387775
Abstract: A transfer system for providing faster and increased volume processing of eggs having an overhead positioned egg conveyor. A rotating brush wheel positioned underneath the conveyor receives eggs and includes a first and second pluralities of bristles having, respectively, lesser and greater stiffness. An egg receiving reservoir exhibits a receiving lane positioned underneath and in alignment with the brush wheel for receiving and redirecting the eggs in a lane dedicated fashion to a subsequent egg handling operation. A plurality of spool bars are arranged in parallel extending and spaced apart fashion and defining a number of individual egg conveying lanes and each further include first and second spool bar portions secured in end-to-end fashion to establish an overall dimension.

  • Publication number: 20110226225
Abstract: The present invention is directed to providing a biased releasable connection system that is compact, lightweight, inexpensive and low-power. The system comprises a releasable object that is biased against a retaining mechanism until the connection is released. The system further comprises a small and lightweight shape memory alloy member to actuate the release of the connection. When the connection is released, the biasing mechanism propels the releasable object in a particular direction. The compact design of the system is partly attributable to the strategic utilization and positioning of the shape memory member within the system.
